Hi friends

I was wondering,
what did you all think of how India was portrayed in the movie Cheeta Girls One World, which took place in Mumbai and Udaipur.

Did you all think that it was the correct portrayal? or do you think it was a mistake
? Do you think it gave the viewers the correct impression, or a good one for that matter?

Do voice your opinions politely.
😃 I will be back to voice my own soon.

I didn't like how they portrayed India at all...they showed it like all India was about was relationships and love, but at the same time...I liked how they showedthe Swami at the tree in between. That gave off the feeling more!
Nice topic!😃

i totally agree with you and the others who replied to this,
India was not seen as the beautiful country full of grace and intelligence. and the dancing was what really put me off....for a professional Bharat Natyam student to see that was...quite painful.
However, considering the circumstances, it was a good try😳
and the music...thats not true Bollywood....
agree with you on the Sadhu part.
again, good try though...👍🏼

I agree with all of you! They showed India so modernized...and American in a way. I also agree about the Sadhu part....the main part I liked was when they showed the parts about Lord Ganesh. It's wonderful that your a professional Bharata Natyam dancer, Devi...👏
@chillt
Haha...oh well, we all have different opinions😆
