Rahul is hovering around Anisa's desk when her mobile rings, he answers - it's Anisa's mom. She explains that she rang to remind Anisa about her earrings, which she has leant to a colleague; Rahul assures her that he'll pass the message on and ends the call.
Anisa appears but attempts to hide her tear-striken face by rummaging through her bag, from which a paper falls. Rahul probes her and eventually she drops her bag and runs out of the office; a perplexed Rahul notices the paper - it's a jeweller's receipt (re: earrings). He assumes that Anisa must be upset about her earrings; and as Anisa returns he hides the receipt and leaves.
Anisa sits at her desk and begins to cry again; Arjun is passing-by her office, when he notices her crying and becomes angry at himself for being so rude to her. He returns to his desk and begins to write an apology letter, but stops midway, to question his action 😉😳😛 - however, on second thoughts he decides its necessary, as he needs her help in making Rahul more responsible.
Anisa is working away, when she recollects Arjun's words and during another sobbing-session regrets having bought the watch for him.
However, Anisa on the other hand begins to imagine Arjun putting the earring on her 'and yes, the day-dreaming begins once again 😆 ......
At home, Anisa is trying to decide on her outfit, when her mom appears and asks if there is something important that she is dressing for - she declines. Anisa's mom notices her earrings; and Anisa blurts out that "he bought them back for her" and then attempts to cover-up but her mom is unconvinced and subtly warns her.
The next morning, Rahul is attempting to coax his mom into giving him some more spending-money - but she refuses too, stating that she had done so only yesterday; and if he requires more, he will have to ask his dear brother. Rahul's face falls.
Arjun is carefully observing a line of inexpensive watches set-out on his desk, in an attempt to find a similar-match to the one Anisa had given him 😉😆 - his PA attempts to help him, but he dismisses her help. He then groans at the ENTIRE situation - cancelled 2 meetings to look at cheap watches so as to please his brother's assistant!
A glum Rahul see's a smiling Anisa come in; she explains that her happiness lies in her earrings. He finds some consolation that at least he's managed to make someone feel better... but Anisa abandons him - having spotted Arjun. (bechara Rahul! 😆)
PRECAP - Anisa asks an unhappy Rahul about Arjun's reaction/response to their latest idea/suggestion.
