Today my babble will only about the Maa, Baba and the BABZ (yes, I am talking about DM).
The scene between the three was so adorable and endearing that I wanted to reach into my screen and 1st pinch his cheeks and then give him a kissy (I wanted kiss his parents as well, they were very cute). DM is not a tyrant, its just that, all his emotions and love are hidden far within himself, so far that from outside, he only appears a Tyrant to most. With his parents his real self came out and I think, he didn't even realize that himself. I mean they not even his parents; they are his MIL and FIL. If a person like DM and what we saw of him so far (A TYRANT), can be so loving, so respectful, (so adorably cute!) so soft (just like a child should be with his/her parents) with his in laws, that person just can't be anything but good. I think that he has locked up all his emotions within himself after his wife died.
The dialogues written for the parents were very good; they were perfect. They showed a really adorable relationship between the parents themselves. The interactive dialogue between the parents and DM was more than perfect, somehow exactly what I wanted to hear without even realizing it myself. Like when the Maa asks BABZ, "Aarree ghar kyun aya tu.?" and when Baba tells BABZ, "Padegi, aaj bohoot padega" or when he tells the Maa about the BABZ, "Aab woh bada ho gaya hai"...........it was at this point I melted. I loved watching him (the Tyrant) all tongue tied and a bit confused when Maa asked him about the 4 times a day dawa. We know, no one can do these kinda scenes better. RR can be as good a Tyrant as he can be a BABZ and all at the same time.....It took me quite a while to gather all my pieces.
I really loved the Maa and Baba, fabulous choice of actors. They really looked and acted like the cuddley Maa and Baba type, they totally reminded me of my two sets of cutest teddy bears in the world - my grandparents. I also liked DM's Mota Behn, she was loud and scary and will surely make Mrs. Whtzhername M's life hell, but, she didn't look OTT at all. There are such very prejudiced people in real life and many of them are elders of families.
OK, I am still not quite myself yet, so chao for now.
PS: Like Samz, I wanted to see RISH with his parents. He was always the responsible one 😭, always the one giving love 😭. I am so happy that I finally got to see a character who is in someways like RISH, having parents and being loved by them 😭. I loved how he got dantofied by them and how he got all tongue tied 😭. It was beautiful to watch. When his Bapuji said, "Padega, aaj padhega" and when he said, "Aab woh bada ho gaya hai", I was like: Noooooooooooooooooooooooo.................he is still a BABZ. It was so cute that I almost cried 😭. They were treating our Tyrant like a BABZ 😭. I really lubbed it.
