January 16th Mata Ki Chowki - Highlights (India)

Recap:
Natasha says that Moksh should get the last rites done.
Ramraj says that Vaishnavi has to do some tests to win Vansh back
SK and BM have a faceoff.
Vaishnavi has to walk across a hot path with an egg that represents her offsprings.

Vaihsniav is having difficulty doing the test. She remembers that MR has given her a Dvi cloth which will help her her.
she takes it off her head and the egg reduces in size. She wrap it and walks across the bridge.
The egg gets so small in the cloth, that Vaishnavi can't see it and Yamraj says she has lost.

MR is worried - Narrath comes there and says if she is worried about her daughter.
But MR says she has all her power to help Vaishnavi.

Yamraj says that Vaishnavi has lost - and now she can't get back her husband - she will have to go back.
Vaishnavi is worried - she gets a vision of what she should do - she squeezes water out of the cloth and into a diya, and the water goes out - which is what the egg contained.
She won the first task and Yamraj is not happy.

At home - BM is seeing Vansh in front of her. He is smiling and calling her - she can't believe he is there. But he disappears. She cries out for him.
Madhura comes there and BM says that Vansh was there, but no one can see him. The men feel sorry for her.
Madhura says that Vansh has left them and won't return.
Sabhya is looking for Vaishnavi - Gautam says that Vansh just died, and Vaishnavi just goes and leaves like that.
SK yells at him. He says to think before speaking - she is Matarani's daughter and doesn't just go like that.

Vaishnavi puts the cloth back on her head - Yamraj says she should not think she will win.
Vaishnavi says she wants to see him - but Yamraj says that she will not see him until she fulfils each test.
Yamraj further says it's impossible for her to win - but Vaishnavi says that Savitri was able to get her husband back, and has he forgotten what a true to her husband woman can do?
Yamraj says that was Satyug, but this is Kalyug. Vaishnavi says that does not make a difference, and she will always protect her husband.
Yamraj says she has to wait until the next morning to do the next test - but Vaishnavi protests saying she doesn't have time to wait for this - but he insists.

SK calls the police and wants them to look for her - he doesn't know where to find her.
They look to the top of the stairs, and all go to what they see. They hear music and see Vaishnavi praying to Matarani - she is singing an arti. BM is singing along.
Madhura is puzzled as to what is going on.
Vaishnavi puts down the tali and turns around - she offers arti to SK - she is still in white but has sindoor in her hair.
They are all in disbelief that she is there.
Gautam takes arti from her.
They all take arti from her.
SK is concerned and wants to know what is going on.
Madhura says where she was - and she says she was there - Gautam says she was not there when he came to look, but she says she was there.
They ask if she is okay - and she says she is fine. Madhura says that if she needs anything, then she should tell her.
They go to leave. SK stays behind. He looks really upset - and looks at MR's picture thinking something.
Me makes a really crazy face and leaves.
Vaishnavi kneels to MR. MR comes there to talk to her. MR gives her pranam.

Episode ends on Matarani's face.

Comments: this will go on for 12 more days - 2 days per test - and there are 6 left to go I think ... in the meantime, MR will keep Vansh's body and his soul until they can save him.
