Vinu breaks down at Mamaji's feet, hating himself for the kind of treatment his family is receiving all because of him. Ragini and the rest reassures him. At the newspaper office, Vasu arrives there complaining to the manager abt the news. He shows her an envelope that they recd, with no name on it. She tells him that in future no such news concerning them shud ever be published without her consent.

 

Malti's phone rings, and its Avni. Avni acts sweetly towards Malti, and tells her that she'll help her get Vinu out of his situation. Malti at once is elated and  asks Avni what to do. Avni tells her to make Vinu write a letter to the commissioner... but then asks how she'll do that since he ran away. Malti replies quickly that its not problem since he is right... and stops talking realizing what she's saying. Avni is shocked on hearing this.

 

 

Malti tries covering up saying that she means he'll be here soon, as once as he's caught and then she'll get him to write a letter to the commissioner. Avni laughs once she hangs up, telling Naveen that Malti thinks she's very smart although she's not at all. Vasu is in her car wondering who it could be who sent that envelope, and that Ragini's rishta can't break at any costs.

 

Ragini calls Sadhna and tells her how Vinu is in the house. Sadhna feels regretful that she cant be with them during this difficult time. Ragini reassures her and tells that the Rajvansh's didnt do right by publishing this news. Just then Naniji comes in saying that Shishir's family have arrived. Ragini hangs up and goes downstairs.

 

Mamaji explains to them exactly what happened with Vinu, assuring them that Vinu is innocent. They are pleasantly surprised when Shishir's father tells them that he can see how honest their family is and they agree to this rishta. The roka is about to begin when the police barge in screaming Mamaji's name. They tell him that they have recd information that Vinu is hiding in this house. The police threaten Mamaji that they will be forced to arrest him if they do not surrender Vinu. They are about to arrest him when Vinu himself surrenders. They take him away while the press, who is surrounding the house, close in on Mamaji and rest flooding them with questions. Naniji screams at them all that Vinu is innocent and slams the door on their faces.

 

Naveen sits in his car, watching the entire scene. He calls Avni and tells her the news, and tells her to inform Vasu abt it as well. Meanwhile Vinu is taken away and Malti looks to the side to see Naveen in his car. She realizes everything that happened, understanding that Avni made a fool of her. Ranvir in his office, looking thru files to see if u can find any evidence that could help Vinu but is unable to find anything.

 

Vasu gets a call from the inspector that Vinu has been caught. She hangs up and Avni comes in right away telling Vasu excitedly that they got Vinu arrested, and now Ragini's rishta will break as well. Vasu is upset at Avni and Avni tells her that since Vasu put that news in the paper they thought they shud take it one step further and get him arrested. Vasu tells her that she never did such a thing. Just then Satyen enters the room telling Avni sarcastically that what she did is not what Vasu wanted cuz like this, Ragini's rishta will break.

 

Mamaji asks forgiveness from Shishir's family and tells them that he hid Vinu because he trusts that his son is innocent. He tells them to make their decision abt this rishta and he will accept it.

 

 

Shishir stands ahead and announces that still, he accepts this rishta since honesty and self respect is what matters and that is in abundance in their family. He says that it wud be his honor to get Ragini as his wife who is part of such an honorable family. Mamaji is overjoyed and blesses Shishir. Shishir's parents bless Ragini and tell the Sharmas that they will fix the engagments date at a later date, since it is more important to work on Vinu's bail. They leave and Ragini and Mamiji hug.

 

Precap: Naveen threatens Vinu in jail and tells him that if he goes against him in court, then he will not only destroy him but also his entire family. He advises him to confess to the crime. Vinu tells that he wud never do such a thing. Naveen blasts him for this and Ranvir walks in. He calls out 'bhaiya' and Naveen turns around to see him.
