Detailed update
The guy who took the chain from Rano was Ranbir's friend. Rano wonders if this is the guy who gave her the watch. Rano's friend takes the chain back from the guy and asks if his name is on the chain. The guy grabs her hand and takes the chain back and Rano's friend is disgusted at his behavior. Rano and Nimmi (Simmi) leave angrily. Ranbir was standing outside with his friends but just as Rano passes he turns around and doesn't see her.
In the village Mukhiya is getting irritated at Gullu who keeps saying he wants to marry Rano. Kamla comes and Mukhiya is sarcastic with her and she scolds him for coming to her house at night and humiliating her in front of people as she doesn't want her image destroyed. She says she'll get Gullu and Rano married as soon as Rano returns. Mukhiya says that its not about their marriage anymore as now Shah has given him one week to get the villagers signs. Mukhiya says he'll take care of the villagers but Gurucharan won't give his land and the only way to get it is by getting Rano under his control. Otherwise Shah will kick Mukhiya out of the village and then Kamla will become Gurucharan's poor wife only. Kamala imagines herself doing dishes and gets scared and says to wait till Rano gets back.
Rano and her friend are outside in what looks like a tea plantation. They hear loud music and turn to see Ranbir and his friends dancing on the side of the street with two small local children who are malnurished. Ranbir and friends were throwing money on them and telling them to dance more and the poor kids were getting tired. Rano is angry and goes to stop them but her friend stops her. Still Rano feels a strange pull towards Ranbir and she starts walking towards the group in a trance (with RR background music). When she comes near Ranbir's jeep she comes out of her trance and again gets angry. She stops the music in the jeep and Ranbir turns to his right to see what happened and Rano comes in front of him from the left. She was facing away from him and bends down to the kids. Ranbir aks her whos she is and she turns around slowly (magically her duppatta falls on Ranbir's face lolz that was funny). And finally RR meet. Ranbir is looking at her lost and is smiling (dimples and all 😊)
RR fight: [missed what Rano said] Ranbir gets down from the jeep and asks what her problem is when its his money, his mood and the children are also willing to dance. He asks if she is their 'naani' or some sort of secretary. Then he makes fun of her saying to his friends that he'll give her money too and asks if she will dance then. Rano is furious and tells him that she'll slap his cheeks red if he talks rubbish with her because she is RANO (wow and who is Rano?). Hero says his name is RANBIR and if he gets angry the wind change its direction etc etc. He says he's being linient on Rano because his mother has taught him to be soft to the ladies. Rano asks if he is blind and can't see that the kids are tired and he is making them dance for his pleasure only because he has given them money. She asks if he is that heartless. Ranbir says his heart is so big that it will encompass the world. Rano has had enough and starts to leave with the kids and Ranbir stops her. He says he didn't do anything wrong because these kids were begging in the streets singing songs and he gave them so much money for just two songs that they won't get for a whole month. Rano tells him she is not trying to take the kids away but is infact taking them away. Ranbir again tries to stop her and his friend (the creep who came to take the chain) tells him to not fuss with such type of girls. Rano's friend steps in now and then a constable comes that way and asks whats the problem. Ranbir tries to send him away but Rano complains that the groups of people were exploiting the kids. The constable pretends to take them to the police station but then midway he stops and tells Ranbir that this is why he told him not to do anything in a pulic place as if the public complains they have to take action. Ranbir gives him money and he leaves happily. Ranbir tells him friend (Sunny) to find out Rano's histroy, geography and chemistry.
Next morning:
Gurucharan and Fauji are at the station and joking with each other. Fauji says that now Gurucharan will retire soon and he is also out of service so they'll take care of their land and play with Rano's kids. Then have a sweet argument about who is older when a guy comes running and tells them that Mukhiya is forcefully telling people to vacate their lands. Gurucharan gets angry and excited and says Mukhiya can't do that. Fauji calms him down and says that Mukhiya has not come to us yet and when he does we'll give him the right answer. Gurucharan says he'll never give up the land because its the only asset that he has for Rano.
Rano comes back for her admission and Sunny hears her talking to her friend and he promptly reports it to Ranbir. Ranbir is smiling at the news. After some time Rano comes back to her friends says that her admission is done but now she has to talk to Dubey about staying at a hostel. Ranbir's phone rings and he picks it up with a lot of attitude but as soon as he hears his father's voice he becomes bhigi billi. Shahji tells him that its ok if he does mauj masti but it shouldn't got to the extent of bringing shame to his name. He asks him to answer only in yes or no if he should fix his engagement date. Ranbir says yes.Shahji hangs up and tells Dharam that Ranbir is trying to run from this marriage. Dharam asks what if Ranbir is unhappy with this marriage. Shahji says there is no question of Ranbir's happiness in this because he is doing this for Guddo. The divorcee girl whom Ranbir will marry has a cousin who will in return marry Guddo. Shahji says that no matter what kind of image he may have built he knows that no sensible guy would marry Guddo and for her Ranbir will have to do this. Beeji is listening to all this and is shocked and upset.
Dubey tells Rano that she needed to get the principles signature in another form and not the one she has. Rano gets worried and says that the principal just left for Chandigarh and won't return for three days. Dubey tells her to come back after three days. Rano gets angry but her friend sweet talks to Dubey and he tells her that if she gets bhaiji's sign then he'll give her a room right away. Rano and her freind come to Ranibir's gang and Ranbir was lying down with his face covered. He says that he'll sign the form only if Rano begs in front of him. Rano is shocked and Ranbir shows his smiling face to her. THE END>
Comments: Ranbir was a complete jerk today...what kind of friends does he have. He is not someone with any kind of courage to stand up for himself. How will he live upto the expectations of love. On the other hand Rano seems to have what it takes and i think she is sensible enough to use it where needed.
