Vinu is working in the office, finds some frauds in the accounts, debates whether he should tell Naveen or not, then sees Ranvir going to his office and decides to tell Ranvir.
Vinu goes to Ranvirs office and shows him the accounts file, Ranvir goes thru the file and says that there is some big mixup. Naveen passes by Ranvir's office and wonders what is Vinu doing there with Ranvir. Naveen goes in and Ranvir tells him about the mistakes in the accounts file and that Vineet saw them. Naveen goes thru the file looking towards Vinu angrily. He then tells Ranvir he will have a look into the matter and take strict action. Vinu leaves and Naveen thinks he will have to do something about Vineet.
Sadhna sees Mamaji and Ragini off, as she is going back up, Vasu calls her authoritatively. Vasu asks Sadhna why her Mamaji and Ragini came here and at such a time. Sadhna tells Vasu that there coming here was just a co-incidence. Vasu accuses Sadhna of neglecting Aalekh and paying too much attention to her family and due to Aalekh feeling neglected he got angry and attacked her (Vasu). Sadi trys to tell Vasu that she takes full care of Aalekh.
Vasu is very angry with Sadhna and tells her to tell her family to stay within their limits. She accuses Sadhna of taking away her sons from her. Sadhna tells her that it is not so, Aalekh means everything to her and she just wants Ranvir to be happy. Vasu tells Sadhna that if she is taking good care of Aalekh how did the knife reach him. Vasu leaves. Sadhna thinks that Mummyji is hurt due to Aalekh behavior with her.
Avni looks at the tiff btw Vasu and Sadhna and thinks that she is slowly succeeding in creating tension btw them.
Aalekh is painting in his room, Sadhna there with him. She is thinking about how the knife got in the room. Ambika comes she offer Prasad to Aalekh, asks Sadhna about what happened, Sadhna does not say anything. Ambika sends Aalekh outside, telling him to go leave the Prasad tray downstairs. Aalekh leaves.
Sadi tells Ambika that she does not know how the knife got in the room near Aalekh's juice as she had just cleaned the room. Ambika tells her that Aalekh may not recall things correctly and he may felt frightened and got the knife from somewhere else and not from where he is saying. Aalekh returns with the diya in his hand, saying he likes the light. Ambika leaves and Sadi thinks that maybe Ambika is right and Aalekh got the knife from somewhere else.
Ragini is dancing and keeps looking towards the phone, wondering why he has not called as yet. She takes a break and goes to phone but finds the phone dead. She thinks he must be calling and she will call when she gets home.
Malti returns home from shopping. In the hall she sees things for Rakhi and makes faces. She then goes to the kitchen and sees Mamiji cooking and thinks that Mamiji is going to empty the can of oil and ask Vinu to get another one.
Mamiji tells Malti to ask Vinu to take the day off tomorrow as its Rakhi and he has to go get Sadhna. Malti starts grumbling. She says Vinu get money for going to the office and not for taking off, and tells Mamiji that she should first look at her "hasiyat" and then spend. Mamaji at the kitchen door, Malti continues shouting at Mamiji yeh kharcha who karcha, I cant take it anymore (Bardasth nahin)
Mamaji shouts Bahu and tells her that they are the ones who are doing the Bardasth, and they are tolerating her. Mamaji says that even when Vinu was not working she was enjoying fully, food and clothes etc. Mamiji tries to calm down Mamaji, but he keeps on saying that they also have self-respect and if this continues he will throw them out of the house.
