Hi and welcome  - the truth is that SS is ending this Friday 22/8/08 - but if you still want to know the story - then let me know. I will provide a summary.

Meera was rich and lived in a big house – with all her family but her father didn't love her mom (Alakandanda)  but was in love with a dancer(who is meera's real mother).  Father died in an accident and Meera saw how her mom lost her sola singhar (colour and Jewellery). Meera was in love with a guy called Abhi, but her cousin sister was also in love with Abhi.  Meera got her mom remarried to her uncle (Shantanu) and scarified her own love Abhi for her cousin sister and got married to Cutie Sumer Chatervedi who so cutely just hated her first then found out how much she loved him and then he started loving her. On her wedding day Meera was renamed Shagun by her evil mother in law as a good luck for Cutie Sumer.

Chatervedi's consists of Cutie Sumer his dad, his step- mom who is pure evil (Treeveni) had two brothers Vikram (nice) married to Damini and has daughter called Khushi. And shakti(who is pure evil and demonic) and sister called Urvashi.

Mother-in-law (treeveni) has been evil from the beginning and been trying to separate Cutie Sumer and Shagun and even had him killed twice but he survived – thank god but she has not given up and still trying to kill him.

Cutie Sumer and Shagun had a baby boy called Dev but Shagun gave him to her mom (who was pregnant at the same time but had miscarriage) without Cutie Sumer's knowledge and when he found out he decided to get him back from Shagun's mom but on his way home he is abducted by his evil brother Shakti and beaten severely and then burnt to death alive but shagun managed to save the baby and get him back to her mom. She became a widow is mistreated by evil Treeveni and Shakti – for a whole year and then Shagun was to marry evil Shakti but Shagun phones a stranger to come and save her from her marriage for money and the stranger was no other than her dead husband Cutie Sumer who had lost his memory and was now known as LALA.  Lala saved her on her wedding day and they run away but Shagun discover that Lala is her dead husband.

LALA comes to Chatervedi house and regains his memory and finds out that his brother is evil and he is one who killed him. Shakti in Prison.

Then shagun and Sumer tried to get Dev back from Shagun's mom which they did but discovered that Dev was happier with Shagun's mom so Sumer gave up Dev to shagun's mom.

Sumer and Shagun are sent on holiday but Shakti arranges an accident where Shagun's face is burnt badly and taken to hospital. And Sumer is told that Shagun needed plastic surgery but is replaced with evil Sonia. Real Shagun is taken by Veer Pratap Singh whose wife was Shagun's duplicate but truth comes out and real shagun reunited with Sumer.

Then Urvashi falls in love with Dusant and is pregnant with his child but he was killed by Shagun and Shagun is thrown out of the house.  An evil killer called Shiv saved her but wanted revenge from Chatervedi family for his dad's murder and then Shagun and Shiv throw the Chatervedis out  - then it turns out that Shiv was the real killer and Shagun was trying to save the family. Shagun and Sumer are reunited again and Shiv is proved wrong but wants to repent for his sins and gets married to urvashi but has to go to prison for Dusant's murder.

Then evil Shakti and Sonia who get married kidnapped real Shagun and replaced her with false Shagun who stabbed Cutie Sumer and dumped his body in river but he is saved and comes back and take revenge and Shakti, Sonia and false Shagun are prisoned.

Shagun and Sumer are reunited.

Ugly Shikka came as Sumer's college friend who made false reports about Shagun having brain tumour and only had few months to live. Shagun decided to get her family and Sumer to hate her and for Sumer to get married to Shikka but Shagun discovers that Shikka is evil and that she is not dying and comes back to get her Sumer back.  In today's episode in UK/US – we saw Sumer finding out the truth and throwing Shikka out and Shagun and Sumer are reunited. Shagun learns that Treeveni was behind Shikk'a plan is evil and tried to tell Sumer but he is having none of it   -  currently Treeveni is trying to kills Sumer and Shagun…………     it all ends on Friday 22/8/08 in India but in UK/US it ends on Friday 5/9/08.

In conclusion – the story has been about Sumer and Shagun who are separated by evil people and but are reunited back again and again.
