why do they keep calling Duryodhan Suryodhan???? does anyone know? are they misprononuing is name or what Duryodhan actally called Suryodhan????

The baby was named Suyodhan when he was born. Later because of his misdeeds, everybody started calling him "Duryodhan"

Yes- Charu's answer is absolutely correct.

I have read somewhere that till the end, his mother (Gandhari) addressed him as Suyodhan and not Duryodhan ..

Duryod means Misdeeds so thats why he was called Duryodan but like Rontfan said only his mother/father ever called him Suryodan

suryodhan is the birth name of duryodhan, only later afterward he was called duryodhan.

thanks for the information guys, i had no idea that duryodhan wasn't his birth name, but it sounds odd to me, i hope they start calling his duryodhan soon
