Sagar-Vidya
"Vidya, Sagar!"
Vidya's eyes widened as she heard Sagar's mom calling them. She ran her fingers through Sagar's hair and pulled him away. He smiled, and faced her. Vidya quickly released from his grip and walked towards the door, "I think its time to eat." she said. Sagar rolled his eyes and followed.
Sagar had his eyes on Vidya the whole time, while they ate. Vidya who was sitting beside him, noticed this and kicked his foot from under the table. Sagar took it by surprise and his knee banged against the table causing a bang. The dishes startled, but nothing broke. Sagar's parents looked at Sagar who had a decent smile on his face, holding his knee. Vidya pressed her lips together preventing laughter. Sagar turned his head to her attention and smiled. He looked back at his parents, "My apologizes..." he looked over at Vidya, "What is it Vidya?" Vidya's eyes widened as she swallowed her food whole. Sagar's parents shook their head and smiled. Vidya gave an angry look at Sagar, thinking he wouldn't say she did anything.
Then she thought of a perfect distraction, to put Sagar on the spot. "Oh, i uh- just reminding you to tell your parents about the soccer team you're thinking of joining as of tomorrow"
Now as Sagar took that in by surprise, never thought she'd mention that. He swallowed his food and acted calm. "Oh. right." he cleared his throat, "i was thinking of attending the practises, meet the people, see how it goes, and if it doesn't go well, then i won't go anymore." He looked back at Vidya and winked. VIdya blushed and looked down at her plate, continuing to eat.
"If Vidya's fine with you coming home late, from practises, then i guess we have nothing left to say" Sagar;s dad said. Vidya and Sagar exchanged a slight smile. "Well, i am not worried about that. i know how much this means to Sagar, and so i thought why not go for it. And, as for the late night practises, i guess it won't be that bad, plus, it's a seasonal game, so it won't happen everyday." Vidya said with a smile.
Sagar's parents nodded and Sagar placed his hand on her thigh. Vidya looked down at her leg, and back up to Sagar. He smiled and nodded. Vidya blushed and slid her leg away, dropping Sagar's hand to the midst of air. He frowned and gave an, i-won't-let-you-get-away look.
The next morning, Sagar woke up extra early, for he was called to come in at 6. He woke up at 5, took a shower, and has half an hour to get to his destination. Vidya woke up by the sound of the water running, and sat up to see Sagar coming out of the shower. He hadn't noticed Vidya as he combed his hair back. Vidya hugged her legs and watched as he packed his gym bag with deoderant and water bottles as well as everything else needed. He slid the bag on one shoulder, took a look in the mirror and turned to look at Vidya (thought she waas sleeping). She sat there with a pleasant smile on her face and surprised him. He dropped the bag on the bed and approached her, sitting in front, by her legs. He let out a sigh, "Alright, my first practise" Vidya giggled, "don't lie. YOu know what you are doing. You were captain of our college soccer team."
He smiled and placed his hand on her knees, "That's right, and so were you" Vidya looked down. Sagar held her face, "See you later" he kissed her softly and dropped his hands to his sides. "I'll miss you" Vidya whispered. "I'll be back before 6, then we could go out if you want."
"Can't wait" Vidya put her hands around his neck. He gave her another light kiss and headed off.
Amar- Divya
Amar and Divya headed out of the cafe, hand in hand. As they settled in the car, Amar turned over, "So, what would you like to do now?" he asked.
"Go home. Amar i'm getting married tomorrow, i have to get prepared." she said, a little nervous.
Amar let out a laugh, "Yeah, with me remember?"
He started the car and Divya laughed, "I know. But i have to prepare more. My dress, my make-up--"
"No. don't wear any make-up" he cut her off. Divya's eyes widened, she turned around, "What? why?"
"Because, i love it when you show natural beauty, besides, what's the point, it'll brush off by late night" He said, ever so calmly.
"You're kidding right? Amar we will be taking pictures, and this is one in a life time. I cannot, NOT wear make-up" a little paranoid now.
"I'm kidding" he laughed, "Do what ever you want, as long as i'm with you tomorrow, i really am not concerned. Just go real light because too much make-up..." he made a face.
They stopped in front of Divya's house and faced each other. She smiled, "Thanks. I'll call you" She turned to leave, Amar grabbed her wrist. Divya turned around, with a questioned face.
Amar let her wrist go, "Bye" he said Divya bit her lip and leaned in giving him a soft kiss on the lips. She moved back, leaning her forehead against his. Amar groaned, "WHy so soon?"he asked with a husky voice. Divya giggled. She felt her cheeks warm up again, "Have to" she replied Amar held her face, cooling down her blush. "it's fun, how even if i literally tell you to blush, you would. Very attentive. I love that about you" he said.
He let go of her face and sat back watching Divya blush. She smiled and quickly got out of the car.
Sagar-Vidya
it was 5 when Vidya started getting ready. She wore a nice black sari, leaving her silky hair out. She finished off after puting her earrings on and slid her feet in her silver heals. She took a quick glance at the clock (5:45) and sat on the bed, waiting for her love.
While waiting, Sagar's mom knocked on the door. Vidya stood up as she entered. They both sat down.
"Vidya, you and Sagar are going out tonight is that right?" she said.
"Yes, auntie, uh- i made dinner, its ready, so anytime--" Vidya got cut off
"yes yes, i know. I just wanted to talk to you about something" she said.
"Tell me, what is it" Vidya was curious.
"We were thinking, since Sagar is working, what will you be doing around the house? So, how about you work at your Uncle's office"
Vidya's face lit up, "Really?"
Sagar's mom let out a laugh, "Yes" she touched Vidya's cheek, "I knew you'd be happy"
They gave each other a hug.
It was now 6:30 with no sign of Sagar, Vidya sat on her bed taking glances as the clock ticked. She let out a heavy sigh and called Sagar.
Sagar had just finished with practise and was heading towards the showers. He heard his phone in his bag and took it. He saw Vidya's number and his eyes widened, "Dinner"
He picked it up, "Hey lovE"
"Sagar, where are you. It's almost 7 and i've been waiting until you'd come at 6."
"Sorry, love i just finished. I'll take a shower and come straight home to you. Love you."
They hung up. Vidya let out a long sigh and placed the phone beside her as she laid down on the bed.
Well, what do you know😛
