Karan gets stripped on sets-article

The inter collegiate competition is currently taking place and Karan was aware that while performing the girl contestants are going to remove his jacket but then they ended up removing all his clothes.
An embarrassed Karan says, "My choreographer told me that while performing on gore gore, the girl participants will remove my jacket. Accordingly, one of the contestants came and removed it. Then, we were supposed to carry on with our steps but the group of girls started removing my shirt and trouser as well. I ran away from the stage and they cut that shot over there. They promised me that they will edit it out and shoot it again but that hasn't happened."

Karan feels the prank was the brainchild of co-host Himani and his choreographer. "I saw Himani standing alone and laughing at my state. She did not participate in the act."

This is not a first for Karan though. Six months back when the Band Of Boys (of which he is a part) were performing live, a group of girls came on stage and almost tore off my clothes. "I am definitely not making a habit of it," says the host jokingly.

Does his family know about this? "I have not told them neither have I informed Mona (Singh). She follows the show whenever she gets time but I am sure they are all going to pull my leg after this especially Mona who I am sure will do it for next one year. I am just waiting to see her reaction."

Karan Oberoi replaced Sunil Pal as host of the Zee show. The episode featuring the striptease will be aired on Friday.
