Pawan Shankar
Barely a few years into the television industry, and Pawan Shankar is already fed up of it. He is ready to explore greener pastures - films. After his track in Balaji Telefilm's Kasamh Se, he got several offers for television shows, but has refused them all.

Pawan's remarkable performance in his debut serial Siddhant where he played a lawyer, won him praise. Then, he worked in Thodi Si Zameen, Thoda Sa Aasmaan and Kasamh Se. But no more, he says. He says, "I had a great start and I worked with good production houses. I have experimented a lot with my roles in an industry where actors get identical roles. But I cannot continue as I can't derive the creative satisfaction by working in serials. So, I have decided to put a stop to it."

The actor is candid about his movie aspirations, "I don't aspire to be a big film star. But, I definitely want to do some quality work in movies." But as usual he does not want to divulge any details about his movie projects. "The offers are good and I am not supposed to talk about it. All I can say is that I am excited about the future," he adds.
