I watched Ek mahal ho sapno ka quite avidly, still can't place her in that serial. it was also produced by shobhana desai and had a gujrati background.

Initially, When ek Mahel.. started, Daya played an elder bahu(forgot the name of character). Then she was replaced in the middle of the serial.

ya she looks too old now but "Ek mahal ho sapno ka" started like a long time ago as a gujarati serial called "Sapna na Vavetar" and then it was translated in Hindi... iwas like in 6th or 7th grade.....lol...

yes she was the original Panna bhabhi in Ek mahal ho sapno ka and funny enough our Faiba of TKTG was the mother in law and i tell you according to me she did not look young enough to play faiba's daughter in law
