Roja, I guess you are tired of this izhuvai, so I thought I would save you one awful chore! In any case, there wasn't anything to feel good about in today's episode.
Update for Monday, Dec 5, 2011:
Archu faints and is rushed to the hospital.
The rest of the crowd - Poonga, Nandini, Rani, Jayanthy, Vasu, Shiva, ..., rush to the mortuary, look at the body and start wailing. It is Selvam.
The doctor tells Nandini and Rani that Archu has conceived, she is 45 days pregnant (I expected this!) and any shock will affect the baby (what else is new?). Jayanthy is already trying to call her MIL, but it looks like FIL, Vinodh and Priya have switched off their phones, so J doesn't get the pleasure of hearing her MIL thudichufying. Nandini tells them not to tell Archu about Selvam being dead.
Archu is conscious, they go in to see her, and tell her that she is pregnant. She asks them if the body was Selvam's and Nandini and Rani lie, saying it was someone else. She is thrilled to hear that and that she is carrying a baby. Just then, Bhagyam comes in, wailing loudly, Ayyayyo, ippadi poittaney, and they try to stop her, but she rushes into the room, and the secret is out.
Selvam's body lying there, Archu is weeping, RS and his adiyaal come in with a huge wreath.
Sivagami and family are doing the puja in Tirunallar, and Sivagami is praying that her daughter, Archu should lead a long and happy married life with Selvam.
