So just caught the episode online, and I must say, the burning question right now in my mind is if they can do a TVD Switcheroo where the show suddenly focuses on Katherine as the the main character instead of Elena? Because believe me, Kat is the ONLY thing worth watching in tonight's episode. She has been for a while now, and as much as I love Stefan and Elena together, apart, they just fizzle out. Just like Damon and Elena fizzle out when they are together.
There is nothing very special about Elena - nothing to make you go like, 'hey, she deserves the undying love of these two hot, hot brothers.' And Stefan seems so lost without her, like no other person in the world can make him complete the way she does. ðŸ˜When Damon went like, I was being held captive and tortured for two whole days, Stefan's reaction was, 'Wait, where's Elena?' I was like, seriously? 😲How is his reaction that, and not, 'Are you okay? What happened???' I really don't understand the TVD writers. Make this about the brothers and not Elena, because whether you are a Delena fan, or a Stelena fan, i think all can agree, Elena is a bore.. Bring Katherine in and you see the appeal again, she so totally rocks!
Whenever I see Aaron, the only word that comes out of my mouth is , 'poor boy'. 🥱 You didn't ask for it, did you? Ya, we feel the same way. We didn't ask to be tortured either. And when that conversation happened between the brothers about Stefan having a psychotic break down, i could just see him going like, 'Ummm, how does it affect my survival, exactly?' Ya we feel you brother. We don't get it either. Why should Stefan and Katherine hooking up making Damon barf? I mean, isn't he the person who spent a hundred odd years looking for her only to realize that she loved his brother? And why should it make Damon jealous, Stefan, when Damon is getting it on with Elena, the girl of your dreams? I'm sorry, ya I do get you, it should make Damon jealous. Elena isn't Kat , is she? 😉
The Enzo storyline was a little too OTT for me. Dr. Wes released him to kill Damon. With what exactly? Damon is supposed to have all his strength and his brother with him, while Enzo is just supposed to have gotten up out of this torture, right? So wouldnt it be logical to think that Enzo will be overpowered by the two vampires into telling them his location, or worse? Or am I missing something here? Wouldn't it be better if he injected Enzo with that weird vampire killing syringe-y thing? At least then Enzo would have a shot at killing the brothers...? And when he banged that chair and went like, I am telling a story here, would someone just listen? It was too hilarious.😆Sorry Enzo, if your story doesn't involve Elena, nobody is interested. Haven't you got it by now? ITS all ABOUT Elena!!!😉
So as predicted, Damon stayed with Enzo so that Stefan could play the hero again. To Elena, no less, because come on, that love triangle has to stay alive right? 🥱 News flash, TVD writers, Damon happens to be the current Elena's boyfriend, not Stefan. So please can you give these moments to Damon and Elena so that we can see a love story between them? If you keep allowing Stefan to be Elena's hero, it is going to be difficult for us to digest Elena ever choosing Damon. In a weird moment, Aaron and Stefan connect in their mutual disgust over what Damon has done and Aaron gives the diaries to Stefan so he can find Elena's location. Did anyone feel that Stefan had no right whatsoever to say that he was nothing like Damon, because believe it or not, as much as i like Stefan, he has done some pretty shady things. 😡
And i just wish, there would have been a dialogue where Stefan defends his brother like he has done in earlier seasons. He may not agree with it, but he should have stuck by Damon in front of total strangers. That's all i'm saying. Who liked the way Stefan rescued Elena with that music playing in the background and Stefan's sexy voice saying 'i got you, i got you' over and over again? That was some pretty intense stuff, and I loved it. Im seeing their chemistry, physics and biology. Gaaahhh! the writers. Don't break our hearts after all this when Elena eventually chooses Damon. We would never forgive you, if you did.
The scene between Nadia and Kat, i liked, just because Kat was in it. 'Do you think I would put this green thingy in my mouth voluntarily if I dint want to live?' was so spot on Kat for me. The dialogue delivary, the eyes, the body posture, yeah... that just works. OH I am so fan-girling on her. I din't realize when i went form hating her to so totally loving her but Human Katherine just works for me. Her struggle to survive just works for me. Her struggle to fight for her lovely Stefan just works for me. She is sooo... well, AWESOME, for lack of a better word..
Nadia and Matt..? like seriously?? NO... he is Kat's blue eyed boy. Don't take that away from her.😠Jokes apart, Finally a story for Matt that doesn't involve getting beaten up by Salvatore boys, trumped by werewolves, pining after Elena or being possessed by Katherine's daughter's traveler boyfriend. You go, Matty blue eyes!!! Like seriously. Have sex with Nadia because its been so long since I've seen you shirtless!
The break up between Damon and Elena was like the worst break up in the history of break ups for me. It wasn't a break up so much as Damon being self destructive again. It felt too much like he didn't want to change or face all that he had done. Being with Elena, he would have to face it, and it just felt like, he chose to let Elena go rather than try to change. Some may argue that it is because he doesn't want Elena to change with him, but why would she if he is willing to change for the good for her? But he isn't. Doesn't want to. Why??? If he loves her, he should right? You'd think, but no. Delena fans totally lose out on this, as do Stelena fans, because she hasn't let Damon go. In fact, she accepts him. And i, who am stuck in the middle, feels like screaming out. Blah, Blah, Blah, Blah... Can someone just bang the TVD writers on their heads and ask them to finish this love triangle? Because believe it or not, most of us are so over it. Don't care what Elena does or who she chooses, just focus on Kat already!
Coming to that, the last scene between Stefan and Kat... 😳
My heart is just beating in all kinds of frenzy and I'm having a heart attack, it was so EPIC. The way Kat went like - 'Im dying Stefan.. for real this time!.' And Stefan was like, 'you're Katherine pierce, you'll survive.' God...!!! That was too good. And then when she says, 'its not in this momnet, but it'll take eternity because you are never going to look at me the way you look at Elena, are you?' I was like, no Kat, no.. don't say that. We are so hoping he does. And when he holds her hand as she is leaving, 😳 Ahhh! lovely moment. I played that on repeat like, twice, or a hundredth time.

I want to say I cant wait to find out what happens, but honestly, the way the show is going, I am a little afraid to find out.
