There is more to Damon killing Jeremy in the show, and people need to get over it.

So to everybody, that is still surprised, or calls this episode OOC. Maybe you wouldn't be so surprised, ifyou actually watched the damn show.

Maybe if you didn't waste your time on hating on Damon, and if you watched the show, you would remember that Damon was one of the first people in this show (along with Alaric), who had actual conversation with Jeremy, while he was being insolent teenager, and he can't communicate neither with Elena, neither with Jenna, neither with Matt (not to mention Tyler, Bonnie or Caroline). Maybe you would realise that it was Damon who had normal conversation with Jeremy at that time. If you wanted to think about it A BIT more, you would probably understand that they "clicked" not because of video games, but because how similar Jeremy was back then to human!Damon, not only when it comes to storyline, but also when it comes to how they were reacting emotionally for what was happening around them and how they both became outsiders

If you tried to look past your hate, you would see that Damon was the first and ONLY who was interested in Jeremy when Anna died. You would see that he came to Jeremy only to tell him about Anna's death, because it was his job to do and kid had right to know. And because he understood what this youngster feels, because 150 years ago he felt the same, when they "killed" Katherine. If you watched the damn show, you would remembered that Damon, even back there, when his humanity was still shaky, cared enough about Jeremy, to come to Gilbert house ONLY FOR HIM and propose him to erase his pain. And he didn't do it for Elena, to save her trouble or something like that. He gave Jeremy choice, because he was there too, and he understood.

If you weren't so busy "remembering" DE fandom about JNSI, you would probably notice that right after JNSI there was important scene, in which Deremy were actually bonding over his similarities and after which Jeremy got totally over JNSI. If you actually watched the show, you would realise that Jeremy was the first, who forgave Damon...

If you weren't so busy excusing Stefan's douchery in s3, you would notice that in s2, and for sure in s3, Jeremy and Damon bonded and Jeremy slowly and systematically started to not only trust Damon, but cared for Damon. If you just TRIED to get over yourselves and your hate, you would see that when Jeremy wanted to leave MF in 3x10, he included Damon in his plan. You would also see that Damon at that time was doing his best to protect Jeremy, yes, including questionable way of doing it.

If you weren't wasting all you time on repeating how great contact Stefan has with Elena's friends and family, you would see that since s3 Jeremy almost ALWAYS listen to Damon, even if he doesn't agree with him, he does what Damon says (it has to be SB). You would see that Jeremy completely ignores Stefan, just to listen to Damon in the very same scene, without saying a word (sometimes rolling his eyes though). You would see that Jeremy, right after he saw this dude making out with his sister and was awfully pissed of at him, he shut up and stopped to act like spoiled child, the second he was told to by Damon.

If three seasons and what I've already told is not enough, there's also s4. If weren't so busy crying about how "hurt" Stefan is, you would see that when Jeremy has problem with Conor, he called Damon for help, even though Stefan was in the same freaking school.

If you weren't so blinded by hate, you would understand that what Jeremy was doing in s4 was trying to impress Damon. Really, you would, because this was not even subtle or left up to interpretation. Jeremy was clearly seeking for Damon's approval and interest. If you watched the damn show and you ever met a teenage boy, you would know that Jeremy's "you don't care about me", was desparate "please, love me" in his twisted, teenage language.

If you stopped for a moment and think for a bit, you would see that Jeremy not only never questionedElena's feelings for Damon, but also didn't say anything about Damon taking advanteges of the situation, because Jeremy can make fun of how whipped Damon is about Elena, but he knows that he would never hurt her.

Finally, even if you missed three and a half season, but watched 4x11 (not even carefully, but at all!), you would see that Damon prefered to die than kill Jeremy and that Jeremy for entire episode was risking his own life to save Damon's. If you weren't so busy glorifying Stefan overcoming compulsion (which he didn't), you would see Damon BEGGING Jeremy to kill him, and Jeremy not doing it anyway. And if you thought about it for ten second, you would stop repeating bullshits that Damon wanted to die for Jeremy to get into Elena's pants (though maybe Beremy situation will clarify if it's even possible, lol).

If you weren't so busy repeating how s4 finale "didn't make sense", you would see Jeremy willing to sacrifice the cure (something Jeremy died for) just to save Damon's life.

So before you say that "Deremy doesn't make any sense", please rewatch the show first. Because we, we do remember about JNSI, we really don't need your daily reminders. But you, you seem to forget about everything that happened in this show before and after 2x01.

AND YES, WE REMEMBER THAT DAMON KILLED JEREMY

Deremy was under construction for so long, and now its started showing, their relation is amazing.


You know, Dalaric will always be special for me, BUT in the absence of Ric, Deremy is my new Dalaric! Love them so much. ❤️
