Season finales throughout the years

two things have been common in first 2 finales

1)Damon's life in danger;

2)Damon and Kissing

what and how they are going to end this season? show is going to take a u-turn in this finale, after a death, a kiss and a confession.. too much excited as well as scared for whats gonna happen..

'Vampire Diaries' Ian Somerhalder, Nina Dobrev talk finale at Bloody Night Con

"Vampire Diaries" stars Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev spoke to fans at the Bloody Night Convention in Barcelona, Spain, on May 5 and gave some scoop on theseason finale.

When asked by a fan about what the expectations are for the characters during the next episodes and into season 4, Ian said that "It's best not to have any expectations so you don't get disappointed."

Then, Nina explained that when you expect certain events to happen and they don't, people tend to feel let down, so she enthusiastically added "Expect nothing!" Needless to say, this made the convention audience a little nervous...

Could Nina be referring to Elena's impending choice between Damon and Stefan? Of course, we all know that whichever brother she ends up picking, half the viewers will be unhappy about it either way...

'Vampire Diaries' star Daniel Gillies says season 3 finale will be 'tragic'

But, when asked about the Damon and Elena relationship, Nina teased that Damon makes Elena laugh and added that a romance "may happen." Meanwhile, Ian further taunted with "You never know…"

But, the Elena/Damon romance was not the only thing that Ian and Nina teased during the conference. All throughout their Q&A segment, the pair poked and teased each other nonstop, further enticing those relationship rumors, which by now are pretty much all, but, confirmed.

Bonnie's going to turn evil I think. Who else among them would go onto the dark side. Not Delena/Stefan, not Forwood, not Matt or Jeremy. It's Bonnie. She felt and looked so relaxed while doing Dark Magic. That wouldn't be for no reason. I don't think anything in TVD is non-symbolic.
