Chapter 11:

Kiya's POV

Panchi went to KD.
"Her KD,nice job out there"Panchi flirted with him.
KD broke eye contact with me and looked at Panchi.
"Uh,thanks Panchi."he said.
He looked at me with a this-is-uncomfortable look on his face.
Panchi put her hands on his arms and squeezed.Does she want to die?I was so mad right now.She is touching him.
"Wow,you are strong!Wanna go out sometime?"She asked.
Kd's eyes widened and slowly took his arm out of her grasp trying to not make it noticeable.
THAT's IT!
"PANCHI!We need you,were about to start!"I yelled.
She giggled to herself.
"Bye KD see you later!"She skipped off behind me.
The whistle went off and KD gave me one more glance before he went back.
I went over to Panchi.
"What the hell was that?"I asked.
"what do you mean?Is somone jealous?"she asked with a smile on her face/
Oh I was about to go all out on this girl until I was interrupted by everyone in the stands.
Everyone gasped and some people were 'oh that's gotta hurt' or'is he ok?"
I turned around and suddenly felt the ground was being pulled from under me.
KD was laying out on the fields,passed out with blood on the side of his face.
I stopped talking to Panchi and just stared at the limp body on the field.
"KD!"
I had tear stains from my mascara all over my face.I was afraid to look in the mirror because I would probably scare myself.
'this chair is uncomfortable'I thought to myself as I was sitting in the waiting room.
I didn't know what to think.I just saw KD passed out in the field with blood pouring down the side of his head,and I really did think that he was dead.

"miss Kiya?"The nurse interrupted my thoughts.
I stood up fast.
"Yes?"I asked cautiously.
"KD will see you now"

As I walked in the room,I see cords.
Attached to KD's arm.Green sheets were spread across his body.
A patch was attached to his head.I could see blood is hiding behind that material.
I stopped in my tracks from walking through the door.I stood over the end of his bed.
His eyes were closed.
Why did the nurse bring me here if he is asleep?
the nurse came around the corner and started fixing cords next to drake's bed.
"Um,excuse me,but why did you bring me in here while he was still asleep?"
She turned her head to me.
"when I came in here he was awake and was asking for you"she explained."sorry dear."
I started to turn away,"it's fine I will just-"
I was suddenly interrupted by a voice that instantly gave me chill
"Kiya?"
I turned around and saw bright brown eyes staring into mine.
"K-KD?"I asked stunned for some reason.
I ran over to his side and he embraced me with a hug while I had tears strolling down my face.
"Shh,don't cry sweetie.I am fine"He whispered into my ears.
I sat up and looked into his eyes.
He lifted up his fingers to swipe away the tears that had fallen.
"what happend?"I asked.
"I got beat down by the jock on other team."he started"I didn't even see him coming!I was running for the ball and he just came up out of no where and hit me on the head"
I wish I could have helped him.
"I was talking to Panchi and when I turned around,you were just laying there.you looked...dead"
he smiled at me.
"What?!"I said.
he started laughing.
"Y-you thought I-I was dead?!"He laughed
I smiled and hit his arm.
"Stop laughing at me it's not funny!Your lucky I have even came to see you.I should be cheering at the game right now"I said as I layed back next to him.
"hmm I can see that"he said and hugged me.
BANG!
the door opened and a lady came I hope it is not KD's mom.That ladies eyes widened.
