New Begining: Chapter 4
During this period, RanYa (Ranveer- Kiya) had many fights which usually occur in any relationship. Whenever she had a fight with Ranveer, she used to discuss it with Panchi and KD. They used to help her sort out the differences. By this time KD and Kiya had become good friends. Once RanYa had a huge tiff regarding Ranveer's friends.
She was feeling low. Over time Ranveer had started ignoring Kiya. He's parties were increasing day by day. Kiya hated his friends, especially Sonia, as she was his ex-girlfriend. But Ranveer did not take her seriously. Kiya was not able to concentrate on her studies. She needed someone to talk. She thought of calling Panchi. But she did not answer any of her calls. She called KD to know about her.
" Hello, KD, this is Kiya."
"Yeah. Tell me."
"Actually I am trying to call Panchi but she is not answering." she said.
" she does not pick up calls after 9." He responded.
"Ok" she paused for a while after saying.
"Anything urgent?" he asked.
"No. Nothing. Anyways I keep the phone. Bye"
"Ok. Bye." He said.
"Kd. Wait."
"Yeah what happened?" he asked again.
"Is Ruchi there?"
"No she's with mom. They went for shopping. But you can call her. Hello. You there? Kiya. Helo"
Kiya started crying badly. She couldn't speak anything after that. She felt lonely,there was no one, no panchi, no Ruchi with whom she could share her loneliness. She was hurt.
"Hey Kiya. What happened? Stop crying please." KD tried to console her.
"I'm sorry. I must keep the phone now. I am really sorry."
"Listen stop crying first and can you tell me what's worng?" he asked in a firm voice.
"It's Ranveer. I had a fight with him, and he is not even bothered to call me back so I was feeling very lonely and thought of calling Panchi but she's not answering and even Ruchi's not home. That's why I couldn't stop myself and started crying."
"What was the reason for your fight?"
"I must be irritating you." she said.
"The moment you irritate me I will let you know, until then please continue"
She explained him everything from what happened, why they had a fight. After listening to it KD spoke
" One person is never completely wrong. We are humans. For us it is very difficult to understand what the person in front must be thinking. One person should keep calm and handle the matter in a very matured way. Am I right?"
"Yeah you have a point. I think I'm acting too childish. But ..."
Before she could complete, KD interrupted her in between, "Kiya, all five fingers of our hand are not equal. As far as I know, I mean Panchi tells me something about him, I don't think he's ignoring you. It's just that whenever he's with his friends, he does not want anyone to disturb him. Kiya now pacify your thoughts, soothe your nerves, think of how much he cares for you, the moments you shared together, and overlook these matters. It will just mess up your relationship."
"I'm sorry KD. I know at times I behave in an imprudent manner. I will try my best to keep myself cool and stop being a toddler. I have wasted your time and I'm really sorry for that."she said.
"It's fine. Don't worry, relationships without arguments are boring. Am I right?"
"Yes" she laughed.
"Okay then bye. I will ask Panchi to call you"
Kiya felt relaxed. She washed her face and went to sleep. She was recollecting all the words said by KD. She thought KD was right,she shouldn't have overreacted on such a petit issue. She messaged Ranveer- Sorry.
Days were passing in a swift. Kiya became close to Panchi and KD. They started spending time together. They would help each other in studies as well. Slowly and gradually she was attracted to KD. Kiya started liking KD's ideologies. She thought he gives perfect solution for any problem.

That day her phone was flooded with messages and calls from her relatives and friends. It was 17 september, a big day for Kiya, it was her birthday. She had planned to go to Mahalaxmi temple to offer blessings from Goddess Laxmi. She wore a beautiful baby pink anarkali. She dressed up very well. She had to look good that day. She had decided to go to the temple with a friend who ditched her at last moment. After finding no way out, she dialed KD's number.
"Hey, Happy Birthday." he said.
"Thank you. Can I ask you for a favor? She asked after a second of hesitation.
"Ya sure. Tell me... Are you alright?"he enquired.
"you know?, Radhika had promised that she would come with me to the temple. Now she ditched me. I called her thousands of time. But in vain. She must be in deep sleep, Ranveer also has a night shift, I can't bother him too. I don't know what to do?" she almost shouted.
KD was burst into laughter and said-"Give me 15 minutes I will be there."
They asked both their partners if they were fine with the sudden change in plan. They both(Ranveer- Panchi) agreed to it. KD and Kiya did the darshan properly. Kiya invited KD for the party to be held at Kiya's place. He agreed to come with Panchi.

They all were having a blast at the party. Panchi had to come with her maid. It was going to be late. At about 10 pm Panchi had a call from her mom. She asked her to return home as soon as possible. Because she was with her maid, she could not go with KD. Kiya requested KD to stay back for sometime.
"KD at least you stay with us. You guys will go separately anyways, we are having so much of fun here. Another 15 minutes? Please."
"What will he do staying here. I mean what he will do all alone, I am not there so he may get bored." Said Panchi in an arrogant tone.
"What's the big deal? I'm here, his friends are here." Kiya said.
"it's ok guys. Actually I will leave, I have told my mom, I'll be back soon."KD said
Kiya sensed that something was weird. She felt that KD wanted to stay back but because Panchi would create problems he said he will leave. She did not force him to stay back.
Finally, Panchi, her maid and KD left Kiya's place. The party ended at around 11.30 pm. At 11.45, her cell blinked-'Happy Birthday once again'
It was KD's message.
'Are you busy? If possible call me' she replied.
After sometime, Kd gave her a call.
"Hey tell me. Is everything fine?"
"Why do you ask me this question every time I call or msg you?
" Nothing. You asked me to call so late, that's why I was concerned."
"Ok. Can I ask you something"
"sure"
"Is everything ok between you and Panchi?"
"What's this? Why asking such questions? Everything is fine between us."
"No. I sensed something wrong in the party."
"Kiya why you think over futile things? You both are friends and I became your friend because of her, so if she is leaving the party what I would have done there?"
"You were invited separately and not as a couple."
"Leave all these topics Kiya. Where is Ranveer?"
"I won't leave this topic just like that, what is all this crap that you became my friend because of her."
"This is true. I mean how do you know me? Through her right?"
" ok, if so is the situation then KD, will you be my friend."she said furiously
"I'm already your friend and why are you so angry?"
"You are contradicting your statement, Keshu"
"Pardon, what you said?" He surprisingly asked.
"Oh sorry slip of tongue, I meant KD."
"it's ok."
Their discussions were going on till 2.00. Kiya fell asleep while chatting on the phone.
