Devi Maa bats for Thapki, again!

Nothing much happened today. Purab's discussion with Mamaji and her ma presents the reason why he won't be able to let Taps leave his home any time soon and also his silence about his attitude towards Taps. He is going to remain a mystery husband to her who switches btwn garam pathila (?) and a caring guy.

The family's support of Taps is good to see. Taps upholds the ITV FL's cliche character of being understanding, sacrificing and ever resourceful bahu.

Since the jodi is getting clicked, the writers are following the ITV tradition of *at least a contact scene between the couple per episode*. Keeping away the regular dori scene, Purab was given the opportunity to help wifey with her gajra.

Anyways due to Devi Ma's staunch support of Taps, the family celebrated Lekshmi pooja with the new bahu.

By the way, where is #babs FIL?

But seriously, is the show is turning into mythological/ mystical... I mean the Goddess was not so prompt in action even in Nazar, and there Piya was a Daivik. 😔

Cryptic WU

Opens with Purab talking to mamaji about Tap's mom needing a throat surgery. He also advises against telling Taps the same at least until after Diwali.

Tap's mom gifts clothes she made for Taps and Purab and asks him to click a pic of them in the dress at pooja and send it to her.

Taps makes laddoo. VD walks down there stairs wearing her lucky saree. She forbids Taps from participating in Lekshmi pooja. Does not listen to her husband or MIL. Taps solves the conflict by agreeing to stay in her room.

Purab gives Taps her mom's gift. Then helps her in putting on the gajra. Taps asks him to wear the Kurta given by her mom and attend the puja, thus making both moms happy.

Dadi is upset that Taps is not allowed in puja. As soon as VD takes the arti thali in her hands, lights go off...( *SURPRISE* screams Goddess who initiated power failure in the mansion and just theirs ,mind you, by a blown fuse)

Purab finds out that Taps was forbidden from participating in the puja, reaches his room and finds Taps in front of a small idol with lighted diya.

Getting to know that the electrician won't be coming, she teaches Purab to make Diya (out of wax?) and they take the diyas to the puja place. Dadi is super happy and ThaRab does aarthi.

Then remembering her mom's request, clicks a selfie of them together for her mom.
