Star Plus' next big launch Meri Durga, produced by Paperback Films has got its launch date!!

Meri Durga. produced by Ravindra Gautam and Pradeep Kumar, is the tale of a girl who aspires to become an athlete. Child artist Ananya Agarwal will play the titular role.

We hear that Meri Durga will launch on 26 January and will take the 6.30 PM slot.

Yes, you heard it right!!!

As per sources, "The channel finds the slot of 6.30 PM apt to showcase the new show. However, Suhani Si Ek Ladki which presently airs at the same slot will not go off air."

If sources are to be believed, Suhani Si Ek Ladki, which recently saw a leap, will be shifted to an early evening slot of 5 PM. The show is being produced by Panorama Entertainment.

This can be a boon or bane for TPK. Off late, most of the new shows launched by SP are not doing that well. And those few shows who are performing well...took a bit of time to get there. So the TRP Audience may take a bit of time to accept Meri Durga and in case the show fails to click with the viewers then TPK will become the slot leader.

I strongly feel that TPK creatives showed ThaHaan divorce and BiNkar marriage to compete with SSEL...because the lead pair of that show Yuvraj and Suhaani also got divorced and re-married to different people for sometime. So i hope Meri Durga will have a different and less saas bahu-ish storyline...so that TPK creatives also alter their storyline accordingly to compete with it.

I think Meri Durga is also an inspirational show...so may be TPK creatives will also remember the original theme of TPK...i don't want Thapki to turn into a housewife, i want to see her as a business-woman. The creatives scrapped that 365 News track...at least they can show Bihaan helping Thapki in her business.

Hope they will end this whole mess at least now. There r so many truths to come out & all the relationships are messed up. Its high time to straighten the things & get back to original theme of tpk. It was all about the struggle of a stammering girl. They need to get rid of the current disgusting & pathetic storyline! Otherwise the audience will start watching that new show & tpk wont survive much long. 😕

If they brought this marriage drama to be up to the mark with ssel then this is the worst decision.. Now things in tpk is beyond repair.. Also, they should be well aware of the changes in their rival shows well in advance.. Like if there is a change in time slot, then it would have been in talks months back, I believe every channel/PH have their own 'source' who keep a tab on such changes of the rival shows.. Esp. if they are so keen on following the same kinda plot of the rival, then they offcourse should also be aware that how long will this show be their rival.. So, here also they should have known about this before bihaan-sankar marriage.. TPK cvs could have avoided that.. And if they will not be competing with the show ssel then they shouldn't have brought this track itself.. All I can say is stupid CVS.. Apart from the actors, everything else sucks in this show.. They don't even have a proper strategy in place..

The one positive point is, SSEL changed the timings which can also be coz of its unwillingness to compete with tpk.. Compared to the earlier shows aired by colors in this slot, tpk was giving competition to SSEL.. If the track was proper, it would have been a spot leader.. After 2 colors shows being axed in this slot, ssel changing its time can be considered as a positive note too..

TPK has now got another chance.. But no hopes, they will ruin it again by showing all crap..

I so badly was looking for that channel365 revamp and that minister track.. As dhruv was missing, that was a perfect timing for such story.. But these cvs, they just scrapped it and brought Kosi's track.. I will never forgive them for that.. Though I love kosi.. :-)

Now, I seriously have no clue where this show is heading... Even after thahaan union, what will they show.. Hope they don't end up with kitchen politics..

tpk cvs never try to improve their trp now a I like cartoon channel program very much...so any new serial can easily beat tpk trp

They should now try to end the current track as it has been dragged very very long. They can come up with better tracks like after Thapki and Bihaan's reunion, Aditi might be shown against Bihaan (as we have already seen her hatred towards Bihaan. This might cause a rift between the two sisters where Aditi being a younger sister will try to act as the Bari bahu of the house and thus creating problems for Thapki. This might also include Aditi belittling Bihaan for him being uneducated and Dhruv the only one with a job/business and earning bread for the family.

This can lead to Bihaan trying to stand on his feet and doing sthg gud other than beating ppl and stuff.

Another angel could be Kosi coming back with John to challenge Bihaan for her and John's part in the property and stuff.

The CVs should come up with better tracks other than Mian biwi and woh tracks
