Little differently - Daadi tells all ladies after the pooja to take the matarani's shubh sindoor and apply it for good omen. All women do it. Thapki hesitates. Dadi asks her why is she hesitating? Thapki takes the sindoor to Bihaan and holds it for Bihaan to apply. Bihaan is angry but applies!! 😆

So why is Dadi not asking Thapki to wear a mangalsutra or sindoor? They are going on and on about ghar ke reeti-riwaz but no one cares abt their suhagn bahu running around bare necked and sooni maang?

My scene- Dadi asks Bihan to put Sindoor and Mangalsutra on Thapki at Navaratri arti. Thapki looks on confused half wishing for him to do the same. Bihan is mad at Thapki but cannot refuse Dadima and he ties the mangalasutra with shaking hands and anger an fills her maang. Thapki is crying with closed eyes. cue camera rotation🤣
