PROLOGUE
They swayed slowly to the beats of the song. They felt the world stopped. It was just him and her. As the song ended, the lights went off. It created a havoc between the guests. Mantu tried thinking what would've happened.
"Mantu, go have a check on the fuse box. I'll try to calm them down then" Rama said to Mantu loudly as he couldn't see him. Rama tried controlling the situation as Mantu went to check the wirings. Amaya followed him without Mantu's knowledge to see the problem.
As she ran her leg slipped on the glass of water which had fallen twisting her leg and making it bleed due to glass pieces. She screamt loudly, "Aaahh" The lights went on by then. Everyone calmed only to see an Amaya sobbing terribly in pain with her badly bruised leg. They all ran to her to see her hurt.
Mantu, too busy with his work didn't notice anything. When he came to the hall, he saw everyone surrounded by something. He asked Rano, "What happened?" Rano replied sadly saying " Amaya ji fell on the broken glass pieces slipped because of the water. Her leg is deeply hurt. Mantu felt those glass pieces hit his heart with each word Rano said. He ran to see Amaya and her deeply wounded foot. With the help of Rama, he picked her up and took her to her room. His heart cried seeing Amaya sob so much. Her pain could be seen so badly that Mantu also shed some silent tears.
He told Rudra to call a doctor immediately as he sat beside Amaya with the whole family next to her. He sat next to her foot and took those pricked glass pieces slowly from Amaya's sole. She cried as Sneha and Rachita held her hand. She then felt a drop of water hitting her toe. She managed to give a weak smile realizing Mantu was crying for her.
