SO I REALLY LOVE THIS SHOW BUT I MISSED A WHOLE LOT OF IT.

I watched the beginning but due to certain things I couldn't watch it and missed a lot. Last time I checked Taani and Anu were still young and Anu was figuring out he loves Taani. [I KNOW THAT WAS A LONG TIME AGO BUT I MISSED A LOT]
Can someone fill me in? How [and when] did Taani's dad die?
What happened between the two families?
What happened between the two families?
Why was Anu sent away?
Are Anu and Taani still married?
And why is Ritesh so horrible? I thought he was a good guy!?
I see that Anu was supposed to get engaged to some "model" Nupur but she ran away to New York and left Anu and now Anu and Taani got engaged etc etc.. I really hope Anu realizes his love for Taani soon but I really would like my questions answered!
