Aneek has the raised the Bar on Overall Singing Standards. This is bound to frustrate some competiters and even some professionals. But singers and lovers of music will be delighted and support him fully. But friends this is only the begining and I expect him to continue his journey to new Heights. Currently even in SRGMP, there is no male singer that can come close to him in learning fast and consistently delivering the goods. A lot of the new singers are strong in certain song types, and some even need computer software to help them. Keep up the Good Work Aneek and hope the other singers too keep improving.

Hi Summer,

Good topic buddy! Aneek is an excellent singer and I loved his voice quality and the way he carry any song is simply superb! For me all the singers from srgmp 2007 was really good and will not compare aneek singing with other singers because all of them are really good at their genre.

I can speak more and more about aneek singing continously because I loved his singing and can keep listening to his singing for hours.I have seen his progress and have faith in his singing.I wish him all the best and may he reach the greater heights.He is still young and has long way to go and aneek always have said that the actual journey begin after the competition.He said his actual competitor is himself and wish to keep learning and improving in being much better singer for future.Just keep showering him with your blessings and love.

Aneek's album will be out soon and I can assure all of you that all his tracks are simply mindblowing.One of the music director who have contributed music for his album is Lalit Sen.

I also would like to wish best of luck to Aneek and all the other singers of srgmp and god bless them always with loads of success and reach the greater heights.

Yes MG, Aneek sings effortlessly because he is naturally gifted. Still he wants to be perfect on his timings, emotions, expressions and various other details as a song can be rendered in a thousand ways. He is humble enough to want to learn. Working with experienced Singers and Gurus will be of great help. I think it is most important for him to be level headed in his thinking, and not rush things too much. There have been several promising artistes who have suddenly lost it all. Hope to hear his album soon and he should be selective on the songs. I expect him to compose his own songs and be an MD.

hey guys I am aneek fan too and I liked him from day one and wish him all the best. He is truuly a wonderful singer with beautiiful voice.

Great topic Summerji! Challenge 2007 had many talented singers in it and I wish them the best of luck in their singing careers. Since I've come to really apreciate Aneek's singing, I will agree that he's one of the most versatile singers these reality shows have found and I'm so glad that he's had a chance to present his talent to all music lovers through these shows.

I am so glad to see so many of us appreciate his singing and do agree on his singing skills. So far I haven't found any one that touched my heart and soul as much as Aneek has. To me he seems like, he was born to be a singer nothing else, music just comes to him naturally. So far he has sung so many songs and each and every song sounds just too beautiful, I can go on listening to his renditions over and over again. Wish him all the best!

Good to see so many people appreciate aneek's singing ...I wouldn't say he is a gifted singer because I know how much he strives to excel ..his efforts...his dedication ..his ryaaz ...Mgal , I am soo glad to hear what Aneek said about his competetion being with himself ...and he tries to improve himself all the time ...that's the mark of a great singer ...and he is only 18 ....

Waiting for his Album ...this is one album I would like to possess because i know it will be excellent!!!( I have that much faith in this boy)

Everytime I watch his 4th of july concert in Toronto I am amazed how he sang Manna dey's classical songs so effortlessly ... his mindblowing teri deewani and there was pin drop silence ...I never enjoyed a you tube video of a concert so much ..and I heard there were at least 3 thousand people and Aneek's program started around 1-30 am !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!....such is the power of this talented boy ..

Hi Koeli! I also loved that comment about Aneek's biggest competition being with himself. That not only shows his commitment to improving his singing and knowledge of music, but it shows that he doesn't have that snooty attitude some celebs have. He doesn't think he's "all that."

OMG, his NABC concert videos were some of my favorite perfs of his. Yes, there was total silence in the venue, which is rare in live shows. I have been told there are more videos so I'll ask the person who uploads them to please do so!
