Yuvi stood with a bittersweet smile on his face. Today he was witnessing the love of his life Twinkle, getting married to the man of her dreams. He realized he could never be the man Twinkle wanted him to be. He had hurt her so much in the past. Kunj deserved to be Twinkle's husband as he represented everything Yuvi was not. Yuvi had let his hatred consume him and now he was paying a heavy price, he had lost Twinkle forever. But he wasn't sad, he accepted his fate. Twinkle's happiness was all that mattered to him and her happiness laid in Kunj.
Yuvi wouldn't allow any one else to perform the Kanyadaan ritual. He insisted on doing it himself. He took Twinkle's hand and placed it in Kunjs. He had just given away the love of his life to be wed. Kunj promised him that he would never fail her in his pursuit of dharma , artha and kama. he repeated this three times.
The rituals begins. The lovely couple performs the havan and then Rajaham (Sacrifice to the Sacred Fire).Twinkle places both her hands into the Kunj's andYuvi then places rice into her hands.
Together the bride and groom offer the rice as a sacrifice into the fire. Leela and Usha step forward and perform the Gath Bandhan (tying of the nuptial knot)ritual. Twinkle smiles. Finally her dream to become Kunj's wife is coming true...her heart sings. The couple begin their walk around the fire. The pheras are done. Twinkle leads first. then the couple take their vows...throughout all this Twinkle is all smiles. Kunj himself looks like he just won the lottery...
Kunj lifts Twinkle's veil. He is memorized by her beauty. He applies sindoor and the mugalsutra to his blushing bride. He gently kisses her forehead and whispers," I love you Mrs. Sarna . now and always. You belong to me alone..." Twinkle smiles. the smile echoing Kunj's sentiments. They had fought long and hard to be together. They went through alot. now their love proved to be true...here they were with their family and friends in this grand wedding...
Kunj shifts to the side but her mungalsutra is caught on his sleeve. He looks at it and smiles. Now even God didn't want them to be separated. Twinkle reaches up to remove it. her hand touches his. the touch sends waves of electricity through her body. She smiles up at her husband. the interaction is not missed by the others in the room. Pinni smiles a knowing smile...
when the rituals are completed the couple seeks the blessings of the elders.
Usha has tears in her eyes. the couple comes and stands in front of her and Manohar. They take the blessings of Kunj's parents.
"Twinkle , my blessings are always with you. May you have a happy wedded life."Usha takes her bahu into her arms.Twinkle starts to cry. Usha wipes her tears and kisses her on her forehead.
"Twinkle, what's this? its your wedding. stop crying." Manohar hugs his bahu."With you in this house, nothing wrong can happen. God bless you dear. "
They go and seek RT's and Leela's blessings. They come in front of Bebe. She hugs them and cries. Finally are childrena re getting the happiness they deserve.
Yuvi comes in front of them. he hugs them. He wipes the tears from Twinkle's eyes..."Kunj please take care of her. She belongs to you now.."
"Yuvi, you don't have to worry. Twinkle is my life now. Nothing will happen to her as long as i'm here. I love her. She is my world."
Yuvraj nods and hugs them both... After the couple receives the aashirvad from everyone they prepare to leave the wedding venue to go to home. this is celebrated with alot of pomp...
everyone throws flowers and rice on the newly married couple. Kunj holds Twinkle's hands tightly.
all the post marriage rituals are being performed. Twinkle enters the house all smiles. Her life with Kunj had just begun. She would love him for all her lifetimes ahead. He was her husband and she loved him. She couldn't wait for forever to begin. She looked at her husband and smiled...
