Part 1
Kunj came out of Twinkle's room in frustration. He went straight to his room and sat on the bed keeping his palm on his forehead.
He had saw Twinkle with some guy out side the house which made his bones to burn. He followed Twinkle to her room and warned not to talk to unknown boys. But she wasn't ready for an explanation. Kunj couldn't control his temper and clutched his lips to her.
Come on Kunj! Stop being over possessive. She will not run anywhere. You know she is only yours!
He said to him self.
5 years later
Kunj returned from India with Leela Taneja after finishing his studies. It was Bebe who sent him when she knew what had happened in between Twinkle and Kunj.
That day she came to Twinkle's room and found her crying with bleeding lips. She told her everything that Kunj did with her and bebe's anger grew. She went to kunj's room and warned him to stay away from Twinkle. When he argued, she threatened that she will send her to her mother in India. She cant let them stay in one house. But Kunj couldn't risk that. So he decided to leave for India instead. He stayed with Leela and completed Hus studies and now has returned back.
He took everyone's blessings and asked for Twinkle.
"She is preparing something special for you in Kitchen." Bebe smiled.
Kunj rushed to kitchen and opened the door when a jar of flour fell on him. Before he could understand what happened with him, he heard someone laughing. He looked up and saw Twinkle laughing out loud.
"Kunj toh pura bhoot ban gaya!!" She laughed more.
"Tune yeh jaan bujh k kiya?" He asked.
Twinkle nodded positively.
"Kya kar loge?" She whispered in his ears and ran away.
"Ruk jaa tu!" He ran behind her.
They ran in the hall.
"Bebe, bachao babe!" She tried to hide behind her while he tried to catch her.
"Bebe, isne mujhe pura bhoot bans diya!" Kunj pouted.
"Sorry Kunj!" She said like a kid.
Kunj smiled at her childishness and shook his head on her.
"Chal aaja!" He opened his arms for a hug.
She moved happily to him but she was about to trip on her heels when Kunj's strong arms grabbed her waist before her body touch the ground. They kept looking at each other's eyes.
"Are you planing to stay like that forever?" Grinned Yuvraj, Kunj's cousin.
Yuvi was best friend to both Kunj and Twinkle. He was always been there when they needed him.
Twinkle had become inactive after the kiss incident. Kunj had gone to India, but still she didn't talk to anyone much. She never expected kunj to do something like this to her. She thought he's a changed Kunj.
Yuvraj was appointed by Kunj to take care of Twinkle on his absence and he did his job to best. He controlled Twinkle that Kunj has not changed and its just His care for her. Twinkle was very difficult to handle but he did it. She became normal with everyone including Kunj when Yuvi guaranteed Kunj will never ever force himself on her. He showed Twinkle Kunj's recent pics and sent her pocs to Kunj. He also made them chat on hike, etc. He had really done a great job.
"Everything in the world can change but thus two will never change!" Yuvraj remarked when TwiNj came to a changing position.
"Neither you!" Kunj exclaimed and dragged him. The three of them hug.
"I missed you." The trio said in unison and everyone shook their head on them.
2 days later
Kunj Twinkle and Yuvi entered Sarna Mansion with ice cream in their hands and found the house getting decorated.
"Acha hua tum log aa Gaye." Bebe said as she saw them. "Function k liye shopping b toh karni hai."
"Kaunsa function?" Twinkle asked.
"Teri aur Kunj ki sagaai hai kal" Leela said with a smile.
Twinkle was utter shock. She looked at Kunj who was looking at her clueless. She sighed.
"Go and choose engagement ring in the evening." Bebe said.
"I will join! Congrats guys!" Yuvi said before hugging both of them.
Twinkle ran to her room and closed the door.
"Kunj se engagement?"
It was unexpected. She never looked at Kunj in that way. He was her best friend! She thought for a little. This family has done many things for her. And it's the first time they are asking for something. She can't hurt them. And above all, Kunj is her best friend, no one can understand her better than him. She will be able to live with her family if she married him.
"Twinkle" she heard a knock on her door. "Its me, Kunj. Open the door."
She opens and Kunj comes in.
"Twinkle, look I know, its just like a shock for you. But what elders decide, we have yo respect them. Tu wahan se aise chali aayi... I just want to ask, don't you love me? He asked in a calm tone.
"I love you a lot Kunj, but no in that way. You are my best friend and o can do anything for you. But I never saw you like that." She said politely.
Kunj sighed.
"So, you don't want to marry me?"
"When did I say that?"
"What do you mean?" He asked confused.
"I don't love you today, but friendship is the first step of every relation!" She smiled.
"You mean.. Hum shaadi kar rahe hain, right?" He asked with happiness.
"Right!" She smile war to ear.
Kunj couldn't understand what to do. He looked at twinkle, she seemed still confused. He cupped her face.
"Listen, our relation will not change after marriage, we are friends and always be. What I did 5 years back, I am still regretting for that." He said as he caressed her cheek with his thumb.
She jumped on his arms after listening this. He closed the embrace.
"I will try my best to give 100% in this relationship." Twinkle said.
"I trust you." Kunj smiled.
Suddenly they heard someone clearing throat. They broke the hug and found Yuvi standing leaning at the door.
"Ab itne b romantic mat ho jao, k yeh banda dikhe hi na."
They smiled.
"So, stop underestimating me, even I need a hug!"
They have a group hug.
"Waise Yuvi, stop entering to our rooms like this without permission." Kunj said after breaking the hug.
"What?" He asked not believing his words.
"Yeah!" Kunj winked at Twinkle. "We are going to marry now, even we need some privacy."
Twinkle tried hard to control her laughter.
"Privacy! Like, really? Shaadi ho rahi hai toh is bhai ko bhul rha hai tu? Uska kya, Jo maar mene Tim dono k liye sabse khai hai?" He asked demanding.
Once kunj had told Yuvi to take care of Twinkle went he was out for his tuition classes. When he returned, he found Twinkle's knee bleeding. She had fall down fron bicycle. He beat up Yuvi to hell for being irresponsible.
Another time when Kunj cane home late night from a party. When bebe found a shadow in the hall, Yuvi dragged Kunj to a room and stood up in front of bebe. She beat him with a stick but he didn't took kunj's name.
"I want an answer!" Yuvi glared at them.
"It was your duty, we can do nothing for that! Dost k liye maar nahi khai toh kya khaya!" Twinkle said with a smirk.
"You gimmicks!" He forwarded his hand and Kunj with Twinkle ran around the room.
He followed them. Twinkle threw a pillow in him and the threw it back yo her after catching it. This continued for sometime then the three stopped, trying to breath hard.
"Main thak gaya, yaar!" Kunj said.
Three trio shared glances and burst into laughter. They lied half on the bed with kunj middle and Twinkle and Yuvi on both his sides. They shared high five as they used to do when they were kids.
"I am so happy for you guys!" Yuvi exclaimed happily.
Kunj and twinkle looked at each other with a smile.
"I will be back!" Twinkle left the room.
Kunj and Yuvi were still lying on bed.
"Mujhe nahi pata tha mera bhai itna mature ho gaya hai." Yuvi said while Kunj just smiled.
"You also know now, how to control your anger." He said looking at him.
"Its because of bebe dude. Now I understand why she sent me to India."
Both the brothers share a smile.
