Sorry to interrupt but i agree with you both aswell. dobby didnt deserve to die he was such a cute hero elf. and abt harry hermione pairing i was too shocked at knowing the ending because i always pictured them together and suddenly ron came in the picture. even in movies ginny was'nt given much importance until final films as his love interest there was no such connection that harry had with hermione.
