Hi all,
First of all I'm glad that we are all on the same boat when it comes to the progress of the story.
I actually felt the same even when Jan's dad felt sick. Felt like San's feelings were kind of forgotten for a while. The past few weeks I've been just skimming through the epis; hoping for something good.
Last Friday when Jan went back to her house .. was hoping that the coming weeks will be good as San will start to miss Jan and realise her value. But this week was pretty disappointing. Even in social media I see comments expressing disappointment. So far San is only shown as missing Jan as a friend; not even the slightest bit of romance/love feelings. Agree with Reema, when Naveen brought the movie tickets, I assumed San might call Jan and ask her out. But instead the conversation fell short. As for yesterday's epi, San is shown to be missing Jan as someone he is used to stay in a room together.. nothing more ..
My thought is; if the creatives want to drag San's love for the longevity of the serial, they can do it but they should not have introduced the Karaikudi track at all. There San's jealousy and possessiveness was a direct reflection of his love. Right after that seems like all that has gone. Feels like we audience are left high and dry lol..In fact I'm not sure if San is in love with Jan yet or not.
I started to watch this serial as it was different from others.. I thought both leads character will have equal important..however seems like the recent track is going on the same direction as other serial.
Eg: Only the female lead ( Jan's) feelings are shown- How Jan misses San, how she handles everything, how San's family is dependent on her. San's character I feel has been reduced a lot recently with Naveen and Anitha story taking over.
Anyway this is just my POV. Maybe I am expecting too much from an Indian serial. At the end of the only the female lead's story becomes the highlight. Hope that the creatives do something about the current track. Based on the online feedback they should know how the audience feel. Maybe in 2-3 weeks we can see changes.

Totally agree with you tleshni31...This serial is much better than any indian serials and since we r used to this serial fast paced movement.. we kinda expecting much after tht village episodes.. But director has slowed down a bit ...Also I didn't like Anitha's track at all .. even though the actress playing tht part is pretty I kind of annoyed whenever she is on screen.. it's may be due to her stubborn characterization and even when her dad was in hospital she hoping to see Naveen has annoyed me a bit...Also San cannot immediately fall in love with Jan I agree... but he should start having feelings for her sub consciously and he shud fight within himself for Jan & Sakthi... Hope this separation makes him feel tht

Caught up till today's episode, now a days I just breeze thru the episodes..there was a time when I would watch quickly and then Watch at least one more time keenly..Now a days I don't do that. As much as there was not much progress I absolutely love Gautham's character, there something about his presence that brings a smile inspite of nothinh progressing from leads perspective..Today the way he goes like ivaru ennode purushan pointing to San and later correcting it was ..I'm not sure if I'm keeping my hopes way too high on this serial but when that flower fell from San's Mom pic , I was so hoping he would give it to Jan..it would have been a small gesture but would have been very touching. Is it just me having high hopes and getting disappointed or others feel the same.
Agree reema, there were times where I used to sacrifice my sleep and wait for tamildhool to upload at 1 am.. been few weeks since I've watched properly.. this 1 week stopped fully..
I think the main disappointment with fans is the lack of POV of San in this whole track. The Karaikudi track definitely spoiled the fans where San was shown to be so possessive and territorial over his wife;indirectly indicating he has fallen for her.. but right after the track San is back to square one. No improvement or changes.
In fact I thought with this separation track, we will finally get to see San's POV ( him missing Jan, turmoil over Sakthi etc). But it's a major disappointment as for now for me. Story just focuses on how San sees Jan as a housemate/marumagal doing house chores etc and not as partner/wife/lover. I've mentioned it before that story is actually running in circles; San talks to Gautham, he makes jokes etc; Jan pining over San etc..
The promos for this 2 weeks is also disappointing. Previously I used to refresh Colorstamil page everyday for new promo.. Again all we can see is Jan missing San, Jan crying thinking of him, Jan running to see him. Honestly quite annoyed at Jan lol. Why cant the female lead be shown as a strong person and not pining over a man who doesn't show his love for her? Why can't she just brave up and move on? Appadi enna intha Santhosh pannithan for her to be so in love? Haha. This seems to be trend for all Indian soaps. The story always focuses on the female's suffering only. Rarely we see the male's POV. Same thing happened to a show I was madly in love and I lost interest altogether.
I also watch some international soaps and never had any issues like this. Both male and female characters are given equal importance.
Anyway just felt like sharing my thoughts here. I do love the show so im spending time to write all this lol. Will only start watching again once San is definitely in love with Jan.
