Dilip Joshi (Jethalal Gada) is a B. Com graduate and was quite a intellectual student at school; unlike a Class-10 pass as shown in the show.
- Disha Vakani (Daya) is actually younger than sibling Mayur (Sundarlal)in real life; but are portrayed the opposite on-screen.
- Amit Bhatt (Champaklal Gada) is actually 8-9 years younger than Dilip Joshi (Jethalal Gada).
- Bhavya Gandhi (Tapu) and Samay Shah (Gogi) are cousin brothers; but are always at loggerheads unlike what is shown on-screen.
- Tanmay Vekaria (Bagha) has portrayed several side roles of rickshaw driver etc. in the initial episodes of TMKOC.
