Now, if someone talking in normal speech in the society compound and you studying in the second floor and getting disturbed then its time you visit a counselor because there is something very wrong with your method of studying.

In a city like Mumbai its literally impossible to get a pin drop silence. What is Bhide trying to do btw ? You can request people to not use loud speakers or not host any function in this period but whispering in the ears is not the remedy.

Gogi will have to get 80 percentage not because he has a career to built and not because he has to make his parents and teachers proud and not because he can get a better college but because he has to rejoin Tappu Sena in Mahatma Gandhi college. Its the biggest requirement of his life. Studying in different college is not a big deal. By next year at least Goli will get admitted to a new college if he wants to become a doctor. Why no body explains this simple fact that clinging to each other 24X7is not friendship? Does Gogi even has his own friends in school ?

When we were in school we lost so many friends after we took admission in different colleges. We missed them for sure but we made new friends in other places. This is the way it works.

The way Jetha family talks is certainly not normal and is not normal speech...one standing below , one in balcony...why cant Daya just do all her blabbering at home. no need to shout from balcony and disturb whole colony. And the way Jetha was shouting it felt earth shattering and very shameful behaviour ,

Silence is a forgotten virtue and all should strive towards it...at least try...any deep mental study , scientific research, poetic composition,..sleep , meditation...any meaningful spiritual, artistic, intellectual pursuit require some degree of calm and peace...heart patients, students, etc suffer more..and I dislike noise and crowd to the greatest degree...it pollutes the whole planet is another terrible thing to be aware of...not concerned much about show...but it is a fact of life...people should use speech sparingly for meaningful communication and not idle small talks and constant blabbering. The less you speak, the greater for your own energy preservation, environment, and everyone's mental peace. And if a child wants to study and is unable because of distractions, it becomes ethical that all should co-operate. Noise even makes people physically ill and affects heart and other organs.

P.S - Ancient Indian society always stressed upon the importance of calm and silence...all the great sages spoke when absolutely necessary, they were called Muni as they observed Mauna or silence.. power of voice is a tool and boon when used well and meaningfully. People who speak less and live in silence are mentally and physically healthy, have stronger nerves, sound sleep...can lean more by listening and their IQ and emotional maturity is greater and their personality is soothing, and a bit of mystery adds magnetism to their personality.

I know the importance of silence. Thank you pointing it but I was not at all talking about it.

Jetha was only proving his point that he wasn't screaming while talking to Daya. He later apologised. Daya of course has high pitch all the time and talking from the balcony has been added as her one of her mahan act.

But the case is that you cannot expect people to change because there is a student studying in the society. . The best you can expect is that no one plays in the compound, no function is held in this period or people don't use loud speakers. The daily life of a society cannot be changed for that. The society in general is anyways co operative. Some people are distracted easily and they need counselling to get over it. Gogi is distracted because he is scared of the board examination. The more he thinks about it , more he is distracted. Putting the blame on the society members is not the option.

Even rishis or munis went to forest for meditation because even then they didn't expect pin drop silence in the country itself.

There is too much noise in gokuldham...they even do not spare police station...and court and shout in unison..is this how civilized people behave and daya and jetha are themslves uneducated so know little about education and its importance...

bhide is doing what a teacher should do,...and jetha and daya talking in distance disturbs whole society...why not help a kid who is trying to study.

Just to prove point he was not screaming, he screams some more and again proves that he is not concerned abt silence or anyone's study...such behaviour coming from a middle aged man is shameful and when he and daya talk...it might not be most high pitch screaming, but shouting and noise never the less and enough to disturb and pollute the whole atmosphere and everyone...instead of screaming more...he should just learn to behave polite and mature. I am with bhide here and condemn jetha ...he is only a chicken in front of champak...but harasses all other even if he is at fault like Iyer or Bhide. Jethalaal instead of shouting even more to prove that he can make more noise should talk to Daya and they should call a meeting to help kids study by practicing discipline,

P.S - I think the way Jetha is unjust and mean towards Iyer or Bhide and even deprives faithful employees like Nattu kaka of a salary raise...he is punished by karma in shape of Sundar and Campak who unjustly harass him. What goes around comes around.

That's the point. Bhide is so serious about it. Remember last time he cancelled Holi because of the school examinations or even decided a time table for all the kids of the society or even locking Sonu so that she doesn't meet her friends while studying. Har baat ki koi hadh hoti hai ki nahi ?

I had my 10th boards on 3rd march 14. On 2nd match I was shamelessly enjoying Ind-Pak with Mom.
