Yes it's none other than Dilip Joshi Sir! We always used to wonder about this couple. He created this character that is why other writers did not develop his character further.

This is tellychakkar article and i have stopped posting updates that is why just posted screenshot of most imp and unknown part..

I know this SBS Or SBB already mentioned it in one of their seg and they even told tanuj & Dilip r gud friends in real life

When did the seg air? Can you tell how many days before? Good to know that they are good friends in real life because they don't like each other onscreen..

I have not read 'Duniya ne oondha chasma' but I think characters of Babita and Iyer are there in the original story.

Dilip Joshi may have suggested Tanuj Mahashabde as the actor to play Iyer (he even recommended Mummun for Babita's role) but I don't think he created that character.

He was taxi driver for sure. I have seen that episode many times and remember the Jethalal and His conversation word to word.

when dr hathi was stuck in autorickshaw.the driver was bagha.also sunita the maid working at everyones place, her husband was bagha.
