Isnt popatlal bulbul marriage so unconvincing ?

As a girl ,i can understand her reason to run away from her marriage with a gunda but popatlal is a complete stranger to marry,i could understand if she would take popatlals help to escape and eventually fall in love with him but here she marries a stranger to escape from her own marriage is totally unconvincing .How can a girl do that ?Wouldnt a girl fear to tie a knot with a stranger ???????

Also they showed Bulbul thinking whether Popat is right or wrong for her in temple & then she prayed & married
