Bhavya truly goes bald

While most actors would choose to wear a wig when their character has to go bald in a show, child actor Bhavya Gandhi has set and example by shaving off his hair for an episode of Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah.

While most actors would choose to wear a wig when their character has to go bald in a show, child actor Bhavya Gandhi has set and example by shaving off his hair for an episode of Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah.
Bhavya who plays the popular character of Tappu in the show went bald for a recent episode that created awareness about the trauma that children suffering from cancer go through when their friends tease them about their baldness.
We spoke to Bhavya who says "When Asit sir informed me that I will have to go bald I was shocked at first and then thought he is joking. However he then explained to me about the episode and coaxed me to shave my head".
Speaking about the experience Bhavya says "I held a mirror in my hands when my head was being shaved as I was excited to see how I will look. I just could not stop laughing seeing my new look, I kept laughing throughout the day". The actor adds "I felt good that my show Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is creating awareness about how cancer patients are teased and that this behavior should be stopped".
Bhavya is very confident that his fans will follow his bald look. "I am sure that many children who have seen the episode will copy my style and go bald now", he says. As for the upcoming track Bhavya reveals " Sundar mama will be coming to Mumbai after which all of us will go for a trip to Ahmadabad, like we had done last year in the show".
Well seems like Bhavya really enjoyed this hair raising experience.
