I must admit, today definitely had a nice control over executing multitude of emotions in a 20 minute episode. My mom, with whom I was co-watching this show, stated that a tear literally shed for Swaran after she got jolted by Nakul's response in the end.
I particularly liked Kanwal & Bedi's scenes, Ajit as a well-wisher as opposed to someone still cribbing onto Swaran after her marriage & ultimately how Sangeeta as Swaran deciphered bit-by-bit the message only to receive the ignominious response especially after she perceived that perhaps Vikram may have made it up on Nakul's behalf hence her habit of having the slightest ounce of hope only to observe the U-turn of it (phenomenally performed š š ).
Swaran-Ajit scenes were inculcated with pure innocent love, only for Ajit to feel saddened by Swaran's marriage. I really liked the choice of actors chosen for young Swaran, Ajit & Kanwal. šš¼Especially when Ajit remarking how Swaran desired for two daughters over LAFANDER sons but she only landed up with three LAFANDER sons. They maintained a basic sense of mutual respect kind of dynamic amongst the duo which was awesome to observe. Also, a maintain of Swaran's habit receiving the unwanted as opposed to desired choices was demonstrated decently.
Secondly, the parallel scene of Ajit returning home & concurrently deliberating as to reason why he was called over suddenly to the anniversary party. Even Kanwal already cognizant of his sons' refusal to aid whereas Swaran is still trying to digest/recover from Vikram's response without openly discussing it out.
Before Swaran & Kanwal stepped out, I liked the younger version of how Swaran was surprised by Kanwal over the purchase of Swaran ghar 30 years ago. šš¼
Ajit wishing well for Swaran & Kanwal was nice, despite his dynamic with Swaran 30 years ago.
Ending was phenomenally enacted by Swaran finding it difficult to digest Nakul's response.
