Please Say Enough.

Let me tell you a short story from Mahabharat Epic.

When the forecast was made that Shishupala (Krishna's cousin) shall die in the hands of Lord Krishna; Krishna's aunt took promise from the Lord that he will not harm her child. Krishna promised her that he will forgive a hundred mistakes of his cousin.
and he kept forgiving Shishupala who turned out to be a horrid person and kept ignoring the insults meted out to HIM by that human.
Then Shishupala insulted the Lord in bhari sabha. and kept insulting. and insulting.
and then after the hundredth mistake the God said Enough!
and slayed his cousin.

Moral of the story: When all limits are crossed even God doesn't forgive.

So dearest Swara listen in.

Barring very few occasional bipolarity and hence affection and care for you.. THIS is the core character of the ones you love.

Dadi: She thinks of you and your mother as the filthiest speck of dirt on the bottom of her shoes. Even if you and Shomi donate your kidneys, lung, liver and heart to that person and her Laado she will NEVER learn to love and respect you and your mother.

Shekhar: A sperm donor who never met the surrogate and the child will show more love and respect to the later than the sorry excuse of the human you call your father. Heck even your worst enemy will show you more consideration. He will NEVER take a stand for you and your mother. and will NEVER do what is right for you.

Ragini: Let me read out her list of priorities.
I, me , myself and then Laksh.
starts with her own self and ends with her Laksh.
You read your name anywhere on that list? guess what! we don't either. The girl could do final rites of yours for her Laksh so when the time comes she might even murder you for him. (what am i saying!).

(even if this is an act and done out of majboori by Ragini, Shekhar and Annapurna that will not negate the fact that they are being pathetically selfish and cruel and vicious and heartless. I won't count Laksh since i made peace with the fact that this boy will never grow up into a man).

So please. Let them go. Do not hold on to them.
Let it be the last time you loved them and expected them to love you back.
Let it be the last time you hurt for them. and let them hurt you.
Let it be the last time you shed your precious tears over them.

Walk away, walk on and never look back.
Let is be the last time you will put others over your self respect.

Because I cannot; be it real or fictional; CANNOT respect the ones who don't respect themselves.

Sanskaar:

I could write a whole essay for you too but looking at the promo me thinks you are on right track. You finally saw the true faces of your so-called family. and turned your face away.
good on you mate.
and hold on to your stand.

forgive them someday if they beg you for forgiveness.
but do not step back in their lives. or let them seep into yours the way they did earlier.

because forgiving others mistakes if beautiful.
but forgetting those mistakes is foolish.

Stand tall, stand proud and stand by those who love you with true hearts and trust you unconditionally. They are family.
Others are relatives.

So please my dearest Swara and Sanskaar.. Say Enough. and MEAN IT!
Cheers to new beginnings for both of you.
Swara and Sanskaar.

Thanks for this post. 🤗🤗🤗
Plz post it on Twitter for the Cv's to have a walk down the memory lane. Her Jaap is unbearable. I understand she is trying to keep her family together. But there is a limit to everything.
After that Shradh, Swara better end her Ragini n Baba Jaap.

Hey Nimmi I have one request. Are you on twitter?? If yes then please tweet this post to Rashmi Sharma. She needs to see this if she is planning to bring back fake sister love & portray Shekhar majboor pita once again.

Dearest Nimmi 🤗
Been missing you madly and other friends here but have to stay away mostly for sanity 😆. What great advice and such an apt parallel with the cautionary tale of Shishupala- one of my beloved parts of my fave epic too. However, here I fear we cry to those blind, deaf and dumb to all but the lure and call of endless meaningless drama, at the altar of which sense and characterisation are always the first to be sacrificed!

I really don't want to be pessimistic and I sincerely hope I am proven wrong but what I see happening is the usual- Swara will bend over backwards to make things right, even if that means more unhappiness for her and Sanskaar and even if that means it put her at odds with hubby. Of course I much prefer someone who stands for the right principles to Ragini's selfish and very dangerous recent avowal of- "I've crossed all limits for Lakshya before and I can do again"! Of course you can love- truth, selflessness and the rest don't count ever for you do they? But still I fully see a return of the dreaded ear bleeding "SWARAAAKINNIII" soon enough with both sisters hugging and crying and Swara ever forgiving and then agreeing to reunite the stubborn brothers. All the recent stuff hints at that and how unimaginative but that's this show now for you in my very humble opinion.

Same with Dadi and spineless, sperm donor- both Maa Beti will not even wait for anything more than a sad look when realisation bites hard (as ofc it must) and will allow that beyond vile woman to feed them rasgullas until the next time she decides to turn Rakshashi again!

I so want to believe we will get something different and the sort of dignity I saw in films like Baghbaan- where those who did wrong were not automatically forgiven and where your "stand tall and proud" scenario is typified- but here- am not hopeful!

Sorry about my 2 cents- couldn't resist!

xoxo
