Sharmishtha Bani Maa Vamp (Swaragini)

Our desi society is full of hypocrites if we must say. Everything is based on individual or certain group's convenience and thus is blindly followed by people, who just don't have the time to put their mind to use. Sharmishtha,Ragini's mother who apparently gets pregnant at the age when she should be having grand children "as per society" (Whatever happened to safe and protected sex? Anyway). To save her from distress, Ragini fakes pregnancy with the plan of adopting her mother's child when the baby is born. However, apparently the makers are planning the story in a way showing Sharmishtha, turning into an antagonist wherein she will blackmail her own daughter saying that she will reveal her fake pregnancy thing if she doesn't adhere to her secret demands which are yet to be revealed. Well, does any of it make sense to anybody? We all hope against hope that the reasons for this sudden change in character is something concrete or else we really can't muster up the courage to handle naag naagin, ghost, witch plot lines anymore. Can we?
