The lift at the hospital - what a lift - as I have often said, - I need a teeny weeny chance to wax lyrical and there is no way I can resist talking about this scene - he holding her carefully and very tenderly, she unsure but still secure in his arms and magic - the BG (Prem's theme song, though for me it will always be Sanskaar's BG tune - I am so enamoured I have even learnt to play in on the violin and I can only see this scene). That for me is when they actually began their journey of falling in love. (The hospital lift was a masterpiece in its own way. That is the one moment where SwaSan *clicked* for everyone. Even when you watch it backwards everyone agrees that is the moment that sealed the deal for them😉And for that one scene I have to mention - she fits perfectly in his arms nai? As if God has made her for those arms only)

The perfect thread at the perfect time imho! I have a literal plethora of memories that this magical couple gave me so I spent 1.5 hours driving to work to decide on THE fave scene and couldn't manage one ,😆.

I have therefore decided to cheat as such! I will start with a scene here and list some others but if that's ok, I'll come back in the evening when I am on my PC to wax lyrical about more scenes?!

For me, the journey truly started when I saw Sanskaar save Swara from Mohini. That spark was lit as I had not regularly followed SR before then and had only watched a little for "mad Sanskaar" who had drawn me like moth to a flame from day 1. By the time he carried Swara in the hospital my heart was skipping madly and without having any idea what was going to happen I just KNEW these two had to be paired together and how right I was! Hence began their love story but mine too- with them! It very quickly morphed into an all consuming love for this magical couple and those memories have managed to sustain me during all times, no matter how bad things became. I have never missed a single epi since regardless of how tortorous and that's all for SwaSan only!

Digressing, but I guess one of the most remarkable scene for me in so many aspects was the sindoor marriage one. All the fake marriage track also remains my fave; I see this is the majority opinion but each scene during those times was sheer bliss to me and no wonder so many of us were at our most active then:).

However as I see so many have already paid homage to the sindoor marriage scene so beautifully, I'll do something different and list a totally different scene. Not read all current comments so maybe this one has been listed by someone but for now the one I want to mention is the Diwali time scene with Sanskaar lighting diyas with Swara and the beautiful moments they spent, with his mouli getting tangled in her dupatta and him flirting so sexily and her blushing so prettily. It sounds odd almost but somehting about that touched so much of my imagination. I LOVE flirty Sanskaar and here he was at his best. He looked amazing, she glowed, they had diyas around them, there was magic in the air. He was so open about his feelings, his gaze raked hers with passion and longing and she was responding without knowing she was. His line of "Main jeeyunga kaise?" with that smouldering look and that scene where she stops him getting burnt with the candle to me made perfect romance material. I wrote an alternative version of that scene in a story which culminated in their first kiss as I so felt charged with that. Ironically this scene as otherwise during one of the most frustrating phases of the show- when all the nonsense with Laksh and the cvs creating a fake triangle which I hated was on. Yet this was my balm and drug so am starting with this.

I will post a picture once I have pc access and will also link my story here for anyone who may want to visualise a kiss with that scene 😳. As I said, I think I need more posts to rave about more "fave" scenes and there is so so many! Hope that is ok and sorry I have written an essay!!

Ever since I saw the gray shaded Sanskar I had been a regular viewer of SR, but it was the hospital lift scene that made me certain that this is THE COUPLE. We came a long way from that right? There was this subtle moment two, when he encouraged her to go and stop the evil from winning...however I can't tell you how glad I am that she..err...couldn't? (That toh we all were 🤣 God bless SR wale Kolkata police that one time😆)

And so begun the fairy tale with knight and princess against the wicked witch of west. I loved Ragini in this phase too...for she always played cupid for SwaSan and gave us some mind blowing, sheer heart stopping worthy moments between them. (no one shipped SwaSan as hard as RagLak 🤣)
What I loved about SwaSan was that theirs is a bond forged in pain. They had seen how each was wounded, had seen each bleed...had shared the other's pain and had always been the reason they overcame it and slowly healed each other's wounds. There could never be anything more beautiful...than the concern they had for each other...at the same time how they became the other's anchor.

How many of us went speechless at this moment? (Almost everyone I guess)
Then came the solidly acted out and brilliantly worded parts. This scenes that followed where the intensity and the hauntingly beautiful depth of Sanskar's love was well portrayed and VK and Helly where nailing themselves again and again as the perfect Swara and Sanskar someone could ever be.
Where he said, he would never apologize for loving her...I literally clasped a hand to my mouth and almost died😳 (Exactly! Unlike most telly heroes he didnt give lame excuses about being drunk or slip of tongue or some such rubbish. There is nothing more attractive than a man who accepts his feelings but at the same time wont force the girl to accept him! What a man! What a gentleman!!)

When he said, these tears were caused by me only I have the right to wipe them...

When he reassured her that nothing had changed between them...this was a heart breaking moment...but that aside, how gorgeous they look in these attires?

Can't forget this either...

(This dream which was not a dream much to everyone's shock😆 is my second most favourite scene😳 It was just magic. They looked so so good together. And just before it started that little moment where he calls her workers ki bhabhi & then bites his tongue😆 super super cute!)This was when Sanskar dreamed of a future with her...not too sure whether it will come to pass or not. When I think of it, I recall the moment...mat jaao na, main jiunga kaise? The same evening. How childishly innocent he sounded while saying those words? Yet there was a soft shimmer of love in his eyes...enough to let her know she did mean it.
Rest is as they say history.
I don't have anymore images. But a load of warm and precious memories, sure to cherish forever and still sharp enough to create a tingle of excitement in my mind.
This was the SwaSan I loved, love and will forever continue to love.
