Before you all jump into thinking what kind of a whacked out title is this, let me explain. I have two reasons for it 1. I couldn't think of anything else better 2. I think it kinda suits the situation everyone is in
After months I've really liked a Swaragini episode and except for maybe seashore stories, didn't really find the reason to ff a lot.
I know I know, there are lots of topics out there today around the same thing, but bear with me.
After asking all the right questions last week on how Swara could think that he'd ever harm her or his care would be a farce, Sanskaar (well in my opinion atleast), analyses the situation at hand and takes the plunge (or should I say breaks the egg to support my title ? :/)...he decides to leave. He'd rather go away from his family than cause pain to the one who he loves so. He hopes in that one selfless act he's able to instill some confidence that he's not all what her hazy memories remind her of. He is someone that will place her happiness above all and I was extremely glad to see that he tells her that as he leaves. When he instructs his family to care for her...*Can I please swoon at the Meri Swara?**, he hits the bullseye and you see that seed of doubt in Swara's eye.
Sujjju was a star today, and I really want to applaud whoever wrote the Sanskaar and Sujju scenes today. That hug was the best mother son hug they've shown till date, and as she runs through the emotions ranging from panic to full blown hysteria and desperation, you can see it also having the effect on Swara (unintentionally Sujju is helping the cause. You go woman, and soon your chorra will be back in your haven). It's a pity they give no dialogues to Ram, it would have been good to see the parents react, but chalo the mother was all that we needed today.
Sanskaar's exit was clinical and apart from the Sujju melodrama it was pretty low key. I think because he knows it's the time to act and there is really no point in trying to hammer the point into her over and over through words (he says as much as well). Hope is eternal, but for the hope to materialise an exit is necessary !!
The Ragini and Swara conversation was something I loved as well. Swara finally voices what I think we've all been waiting for...that doubt. She doesn't feel joy by making him leave his house, she didn't expect him to leave the house. She is disturbed and can't really understand !! WOOT. It helped that Ragini was feeding her all the lines that sistaaah why you so sad when you want him to leaveee. She played all the right chords and Swara sang all doubts that were playing a merry tune in her water addled top section.
I think one thing we've learnt today is Parineeta can do a great eye roll. They showed that shot atleast 8 times through the course of the episode and she continued more of the eye roll and nose roll in the last segment.
The slap was so well deserved and long coming !! Ragini in her element of whatever no nonsense taker was fabulous. I hope they don't remove that streak from her performance otherwise we are just left with so many negative souls and will be subjected to their eye rolls without a win for the other side !!
So Swara is out of MM, Sanskaar is out of MM, Kissan is about to enter and the dish is about to be served. I hope Kissan keeps fuelling that tiny ember of doubt Sanskar managed to ignite today and makes it a roaring fire which sees a return of their passion and love.
Other positive points : I've finally seen that Shekhar actually has a job *or maybe he was just out walking with his jhola*. Forever it has bothered me ki where does this guy actually work, and today he was out.wohooo...he came BACK from WORK...miracle only !!
Only thing I don't get was Sahil. What is even the point of this character and when exactly did he take that picture of Swara (??)...Why are you even obsessed with her ? Because she can play a guitar ? Anyhooo, worsht villain ever but one who'll soon see the err of his ways because the boss is arriving ! Stay far at the shore Sahil...best for your health !
Would love to get your thoughts on today's episode *well if you haven't exhausted comments on other threads :)*
