It was Sanskaar and the story of new beginnings for Swara and Sanskaar that pulled me in to watch Swaragini.
I started off as neutral. then fell in love with Sanskaar due to his characterization. and then became a hardcore Sanskaar'ian due his character growth. and must say he got a great graph and definitely a beautiful redemption track. Not to mention killer dialogues.

Swara is a beautiful character. but tends to get unrelatable and unrealistic for me at times. But I love her nonetheless. Biased towards San more.. But she is half of my beautiful ship.. SwaSan.

Ragini.. My next favourite character after Sanskaar. fabulous acting, beautiful shade of dark grey and hey.. great dialogues too. then Maalkin track happened and the character was reduced to vicious, mean, bullying everyday vamp dime a dozen in any Saas Bahu serial. what an injustice. the redemption track of hers needs a redemption track of its own.

Laksh.. I rooted for him to grow up. I really couldn't blame his stance in earlier days. but he took so long to grow up that I stopped caring. But he sizzles on screen with his Ragini.

I think all the actors are decent, good and terrific in varying degrees. and legit adorable off screen.

As a SwaSan'ain I would want my Ship to shine but I do admit that the other ship indeed got a raw deal. I guess we can blame Cvs for botching up lot many potential tracks for both the couple. But then again they work for RS. and the fact that RS actually created the couples like them is a miracle in itself.

I honestly have no idea what I wrote I was supposed to be writing OS or something else. Sleep tying I guess😆.

wanted to say.. SwaSan have a beautiful journey Ahead. Hope to join you soon once again.
and Ditto for Raglak. and hope this serial which gave us our magical couple is not reduced to another SNS. or worse SSK.
Now THAT would be a real tragedy.

P.P.S. And I got to meet so many amazing people here and read so many beautiful works. and wrote few of mine too. so yeah.. I would say.. been an amazing journey. cheers for more!

I am mostly sworn off the forum except for my Dark Knight thread, which I am also nearing completion on! I only read this as it was written by you and I knew it would be positive and well meant, something in short supply on my once beloved forum (and hence the main [but not only] reason for my absence nowadays.

Well said! I am a mad SwaSan fan as everyone knows but it has never stopped me analysing each character and whether I like or dislike them, I feel I will be able to supplement that with reasons of balanced judgment, and those are always restricted to the character and NEVER (for me) filter to the individual playing that character.

To me, I love the off screen fun we get and I found that seriously lacking at one very sorry phase of this show and then rejoiced when I saw it returning only to find that suddenly here everyone had become mired in pointless fan wars. I enjoyed reading your take and no surprise on the characters- you have probably noted from our interactions, we agree a lot on many points!

Thanks for a sensible and fair post and even if I don't think the same on ALL observations, I really liked reading it and was nodding vigorously for a lot of it! 😃

Amazing post machi... Yep for me too no vs... Im also a swasanian but more baised with Sanskaar... Just take it as a show.. Don't take it too serious.. Involving in quarrel it's not good for forum...

Hey Nimmie,
I confess I don't recognize this forum anymore. One of these days I might mistake it for Kurukshestra. With all the astras flying around and wars of little reason. Glad to see you nevertheless.
You and I have similar beginnings at this journey I guess. I did catch SR here and there but was never a constant viewer. Then Sanskar happened and as you say what a character. He made Ragini happen and my love for layered and gray characters pulled me in.
Than Sanskar was redeemed ice melted and came SwaSan season!
Ragini was my second favorite too. I just adore that mohabbat buri hai wali Ragini. And she did not deserve the redemption she got. Instead it should have been a track where she formed in to her own person of light and make Lakshya fall for what she has bloomed in to...uh I had plans for such a story which looking at the state of our forum I don't feel like writing.
Anyway among all this I made some wonderful friends read awesome stories and yeah it's been a gorgeous ride. I want this forum to remain that way in my memories. Hence I don't discuss the battles anymore.
Have a safe journey through ups and downs of SwaSan we are still sailing together :)

I fallen badly for swasan n raglak ...i always watches soo many shows n adore their famous jodi...but swasan are only one im madly in love with..amazing chemistry..brilliant dialogues...great screen presence...

I even love raglak too...both pairs are good in their own way...but adore swasan little more...

I have been silent member in forum since 2010...but for only swasan i joined swaragini forum..n broke my silence...🤣..but now adays...soo many debates are driving me crazy..want peaceful environment on forum...

Any ways..one best thing happens..i Made soo many talented friends here...love them alll...muahhh swasanians...👍🏼

and word to all that you said.

and I realized one thing.. Hate sells more. and it sells fast. Sad but true!
and the forum state is such. blame can't be placed on one..

No wonder all those wonderful members whose posts I use to love to read aren't posting anymore.. atleast in the main forum. and others left.

thankfully we have gorgeous memories and hopefully a beautiful journey ahead once again.

I agree with you NImmi!

I actually started watching SR because the sets reminded me of another show I loved...I still think they are using those sets with some changes. I did watch from beginning and I liked Swaragini very much then. 😊

I skipped in between for a while but when Sanskaar and his evil plans unfolded, I got hooked again. I loved the grey Sanskaar and the scheming Ragini. I loved the SanGini tashans when Sankaar reformed but Ragini didn't. 😳

Where did that Ragini disappear? The Malkin track was the start of the downfall. Ragini was never after power or money, she only wanted love. I lost the feels for Ragini at that time and then with that hotch-potch redemption track, have lost her forever. RagLak have good chemistry but the way their love story was shown, I was so disappointed that they do not really charm me anymore. 😔 The romantic in me weeps for what could have been.

I am thankful for the beautiful SwaSan story we got. ❤️ Sanskaar still remains my favourite and the evil Ragini is the second favourite. I love Swara too in spite of her lack of self-preservation instincts and Sujata who adds the much needed comic relief! 😆

I had dreamt of a strong redemption track for Ragini with involvement of SwaSan, especially Sanskaar who I still feel is the only one who understood her. I wanted to see a strong Ragini emerge losing only the evilness, not the strengths she had discovered in herself. But now...😭

I will continue to watch as long as it is entertaining, even if a bit illogical. I have made peace with the fact that Ragini is redeemed and so is Lakshya and moved on. I am simply going with the flow and if entertained, will continue to watch, whatever they show! 😊
