Thats kinda how I felt. It more looked like breaking the hug but he was still in half hug as one of his hand was still on Kavita's waist. So I am guessing that it was while looking towards Swara!!

yes in the end sanskar did push her a bit away luking down.

and one more thing abt the hug sanskar din't hug her like kavita did. she hugged him & his hands just held her.it was not like he wanted 2 hug her.2 me it luked like a reflex action.i think any1 wud'd been at sanskar's place his/her rxn wud b like that.

yeah in IV varun is sticking close 2 helly more.
