TOI - Why did Namish shout at Tejaswi?

Namish Taneja is a perfectionist, which is evident from the way he enacts Lakshya in 'Swaragini'. However, he paid the price for it while shooting a particular sequence recently.

The ongoing track has Lakshya (Namish Taneja) and Sanskar (Varun Kapoor) ganging up to teach Ragini (Tejaswi Prakash Wayangankar) a lesson for torturing the Maheshwari family. Infuriated for disrespecting their mother Annapurna (Shalini Kapoor), Lakshya attempts to kill her in an upcoming sequence.


According to sources, "The sequence required Namish to shout loudly at Tejaswi. In an attempt to make the scene look authentic, Namish really shouted at the actress, who got so scared that she preferred to stay away from him for a while. Namish's voice also went hoarse with all that shouting.

"When contacted, Namish confirmed that he hurt his vocal cords while shooting. "I went to the doctor yesterday and he advised me to give my voice some rest. Fortunately I got a day off."
