Hey Nainu 🤗 🤗 🤗
This was a very dramatic and yet meaningful update, you did justice to all the characters in the story, and how they reacted to the truth being revealed.
When Sharmishta came on the scene, authoritatively telling Lakshya to leave Durga Prasad and not beat him up, after all he was his father, Durga was completely stunned! 😆 His past, which he thought he had left behind and moved in, was in front of him again. I liked the fact that though Lakshya was so furious with him, he immediately obeyed his mother.
Sanskaar had always trusted Swara, and on seeing his father's face going pale at the sight of Shomi, he was doubly sure that Lakshya was indeed his half brother. Its a good thing that you showed Sanskaar trusting and having full faith in Swara.
The emotional reunion of Sneha with her children, and them meeting their maternal relatives---their Nani, their mama and mami etc, was handled very well. I liked how you had mentioned small details, like Lakshya getting so emotional on seeing Sneha having recovered her mental faculties, how Ragini comforted him, and so on. Lakshya realized that Adarsh had not betrayed Sneha, it was all a misunderstanding engineered by Parineeta. Though he still had anger against Durga Prasad for having abandoned Shomi, at least he knew that Adarsh had not repeated the same mistake. And thus, his opposition to Swara being with Sanskaar would have also vanished.
Then came the twist--Durga Prasad having a minor hear attack, with all the stress he underwent. Again, your portrayal here was subtle and delicate--though Lakshya is very angry with him, he does feel concerned about his health.
That scene in the hospital, both between Durga Prasad and Sharmishta; and between Durga Prasad and Lakshya, were so moving. Sharmishta is a wonderful, strong lady. It was so impressive, when Durga asked why she did not tell him about being pregnant, at the time when he had decided to marry Annapurna---her calm reply was, she had forgiven him long back, and to remove this burden of guilt from his mind.
Durga Prasad was too weak to stand by his love, and resist the pressure placed by his parents. Shomi had too much self respect to try and force him to be with her, because of their baby she was carrying. She had decided that she would be strong enough to raise her baby herself. What a powerful portrayal!
And Durga's conversation with Lakshya was equally moving. He offered to recognize Lakshya as his son publicly, in front of the media. But Lakshya, like his mother, told him that he now had no hard feelings against him. But, he could never consider him as his father. As far as he was concerned, his father was the man who had stood by him and his mother---Shekar Shah. Lovely touch, Nainu. And I liked the way how he tells Durga Prasad, that what he can do for him is, to accept Swara as Sanskaar's wife. Separating them is now on Lakshya's conscience, he had assumed that Sanskaar would turn out to be a cheat like Durga Prasad, deserting Swara after claiming to love her. Plus, he also had not wanted his mother to feel upset, coming face to face with her past.
But now that all that misunderstanding is sorted, Lakshya is doing the right thing, and he wants only this to be done by Durga Prasad, does not expect anything else.
Eagerly awaiting the next chapter, to read about the nuptials of Sanskaar and Swara. Am sure its going to be so much solace for these two soulmates, separated for so very long.
Lots of Love,
