Ragini stood near the fireplace clutching her dupatta and grinding her teeth.

'aaj se hum dono k beech koi rishta nahi rahega sivaye dosti ke, promise''
'obviously, aj se hum phir se best friends''
and Swara-laksh's laughter still rang in her ears. Their words, their joy,their...friendship. ragini tilted her head a bit as if the sound of their laughter was till hitting her loud and she closed her eyes in agony.

'likin laksh ek moka de dou ragini ko please meri khatir''
'naahi swara please..mane tumhe kisi chiz kiliye force nahi kiya tou tum bhi meri decision ko respect karo...main ragini ko apne zindagi mein nahi la sakta..kabhi nahi''

the last few words kept echoing all around ragini and she could not bear it anymore...
she screamed like a bird whose wings have been taken away from her.

and she kneel down infront of the fire and sobbed hard.

'aaj hamse humara saab kuch chinliya tumne swara sub kuch...khud laksh ko apna dost banake hum se humara pyaar chinliya...kyunnn''

she bowed down sobbing

slowly she lifted her head up, eyes red.
'swara hum itne jaldi haar maanne walo mein se nahi hai''
she got up and went near the family picture.
their she could see her newly wedded sister.
'jo naya rishta aj tumhe mila hai na swara vohi rishta tumse tumhara sabse anmol rishta chin lega''
and she looked at the man sitting beside her
the newly wedded groom.

The groom...how handsome he looked. The attire suited him so perfectly, it gave him the look of a king. And his eyes, his eyes were that of a 4year old kid so innocent yet mischevious. Any girl would have died to bring him to her life but swara, she was the one who already had him in her life yet she chose to tear herself away from him...

'kya main koi galti kaar rahi hoon?''

swara's finger automatically ran over Sanskaar's picture and she kept staring at him. Then she shoved herself, getting out of her dreamland and getting back to reality.

'nahi main koi galti nahi kaar rahi hoon, sanskar ka dil mere liye dharakta hoga likin main, main usse kabhi pyaar nahi karungi''

While swara was busy juggling between her thoughts Sanskar entered the room.
'swara''
'hmm'' she got alarmed.
'packing o geyi?chalo''
'ha chalo'' said swara quietly
it was her last day in the maheshwari house. Finally she was going back to her bari to her dida,maa, baba but then again why was she feeling so hollow?
why wasn't she willing to leave the room. Those days she had spent there kept coming back to her..those days...
how the first night was so awkward between her and sanskar
how she shared her joy with him,
her worries her tears all were taken care of by sanskaar
how she realized his love for her...

but now she was leaving all those behind and she was happy about that departure but then again why was her face so dull and her eyes so lost?

Swara bid adieu to everyone and got in the car with Sanskar.
'Chalo Swara ek akhri safar eksath karte hain'' smiled Sanskar.

Ek akhri safar Swara, ek akhri safar tumhari khushiyon ki tumhari haasi ki.
pyaar ek aisi chiz hai swara jo chupai nahi chupta
lak koshishon ki vabajut bhi umhari aankhon nei uss pyaar ko benaqaab kar hi diya
kisi se unka pyaar chin jaye tou kaisa lakta hain woh shayad aj tumhe ehsaas ho jayega

Ragini kept smirking watching their car leave the house.
