The drugs he used, weren't they the same ones Swara had used to drug a supposedly mentally challenged man, Sanskaar first? These drugs were used to accomplish a certain end. They were meant to affect Swara in a very specific way without having any other effects. Sanskaar had known that these drugs would not have any other side effects. Do I support what Sanskaar did? No, but people have made a mountain out of a molehill with this issue.

All of us have taken drugs at some point in our lives. There are times when we binge on painkillers. Do most people become addicted? Nope. Just because it's a drug, it is not necessary that someone will become addicted to it and not every drug is addictive. Everyone is different, it's not necessary that one person will have the same affinity to a particular drug as someone else. You mentioned caffeine, I know a lot of people who are addicted to coffee (Requiring at least 3 cups a day) while I on the other hand rarely drink it - tried drinking coffee for all nighters and next minute I was sleeping like a log, doesn't work for me booo. I know a lot of people who have done different recreational drugs (molly, LSD, shrooms, and the very common weed quite a number of times) yet none of them became addicts.

Really good post!!
I think all Sanskaar fans, at least I hope all, do not support nor agree or try to vindicate his crime of drugging Swara. We all agree that it was wrong and do not support his actions. I mean, just because I like character doesn't mean I can't call them out when they are wrong. I am never going to say that everything my favorite character has done is good and righteous, everyone does terrible things.

A crime committed, is a crime committed - giving me a backstory will explain why you did but it will not excuse your actions. Therefore I am not sold on the idea that just because he cared for Swara and prevented her from harm's way when she was under the influence lessen his crime. Him taking care of her does not negate the fact that he did it in the first place.

I wholeheartedly agree that we are supporting Sanskaar now because he has changed and he is on a better path. Swara forgave him immediately, Sanskaar had no obligation to help after the fact. But he did it because he knew it was the right thing to do, and he wanted to atone for his sins. Which I believe he already did, but he is still going the extra mile for Swara while being a good friend, and never forced his love and his decisions on her. And that is why that character turned around for me, because he truly did change his path.

And that is the same reason Laksh is turning into a character I do not like. Because he is being forceful, acting entitled, isn't owning up to his own mistakes and continually blaming others, blackmailing Swara, and acting (and physically) like Swara is a possession to be gained. Therefore he is character I no longer like because of his present actions, not past actions. Similar to the change of Sanskaar's past actions to his present actions.

The drugs that Swara gave Sanskaar were to spill out the truth whereas the ones Sanskaar gave her were to control on what she says... unless the show got confused and used the same drugs with different effects. I could be completely wrong...

I was just about to ask you where you live since you mentioned that you are a western chick. Weed might be legalized here lets see but it is so commonly used here and so easily obtainable anyways.

You've summed it up pretty well! Nice post 👍🏼
Couldn't agree more...I support Sanskaar for the changed man that he is today because he is truly regretted, repented and tried to correct his mistakes!

Do you live in the States?? Yeah, weed is illegal over here but it's so easily obtainable and used frequently... no one cares they do it as if it's legal 🤣. Unless they get caught... massive fine and imprisonment. There's still debates about legalising it as it cures cancer. Its been years now, don't think their going to legalise it anytime soon... but yeah totally misread the post hahaha my bad lol

Nice post .
I am kinda tired with repeated use of Drug track in Swaragini , they are obsessed with drug , bridge and kidnapping , Sanskar gave swara drug in past , but he is actually the only one who is suffering it's side effects till now, he did that wrong thing and thats why at present he has to lower his head in shame even in front of a psycho who manhandles and misbehaves his wife , he can't answer directly with a slap because yes he did wrong in past and whatever the reason was , drugging an innocent girl was in no way justified, but Sanskar is suffering for whatever he has done, he felt guilty , the most painful feeling of hurting someone who is the love of your life now, this suffering , this pain changed him to a better person and the best character in Swaragini .
I am supporting him now because he realized his mistake, suffering for that till now , his soul is pure now , his pain , suffering and realization from his own wrong doings made his character a gem , a rare one and beyond comparison with any common male character , he is different , he is sacrifycing his everything only for a smile on swara's lips, as we all know , past is past, important is what you learned from past, whether you realized your fault or not , and so if we observe the present sanskar , he is a totally changed person , so why would we judge him with a different sanskar who even doesn't exist now. Sanskar is the most selfless character in Swaragini as of now, and that is the ultimate fact we should remember .

Its doesn't cure cancer, I think there are studies that say it might potentially cure cancer but it hasn't been proven, however it helps calm down nausea and inflammation caused by chemotherapy. Now legalization is a whole other issue 😆😆
