What a super confrontation we got today...Sanskaar angsty and determined to get Swara to speak to him andcacknowledge his confession, Swara too stressed to to talk it over..hats to the Cvs for making it a class act ! And of course to Varun and Helly who put our hearts in our mouths in such scenes..
But this topic is reg Swara and her reaction to Sanskaar..did he really deserve such a rough rejection? Or was she truly overboard in her anger? Sharing my two pennies worth..

While Sanskaar could have had a milder brush off I think Swara is emotionally too bushed to be expected to behave rationally and with more maturity.
I dont think she can take this rollercoaster of a new love angle in her stride when she has barely recovered from the betrayal of a much adored sister, an abandonment by a beloved father, the complete lack of faith and again love betrayed by a lover.
She had her bedrock of sanity in the strength of Sanskaar's friendship...and in the last 8 hrs she has lost that friend too...how can she rely on this new version of a Sanskaar who again speaks of love - an emotion she has seen betrayed time and again by her dad, her sister and Lakshya too?

To top that, she has spent the entire evening and night being pushed to face one shock then another and then a direct brute of an attack...defending her erstwhile pal (eho she cant not care about) in the teeth of an entire family including her beloved Baba.

Her resilience is remarkable and yes she will bounce back...but at this moment she is at her most vulnerable and absolutely alone in this bewidering morass of seesawing emotions...she needs Time !

Time to withdraw into herself, curl up and calm herself

Time to recover, think more rationally..

Time to sift out her own emotions before she can understand others'

Time to realize what Sanskaar means to her today

Time to perceive what he can mean to her tomorrow. .

Lets let her be..

Great post šŸ‘šŸ¼
I agree with you, she needs time to think. Everything seems so rushed, lot's of things happened in her life, it's not easy for her

Read your take too...and liked it immensely !
Swara..poor girl has been battered by the overflooded emotions of too many others and her own..she needs an uncomplicated, emotionally uninvolved shoulder to rest her heaf on...specially today..and Sanskaar who was providing her with it, has also now turned turtle..actually is adding to her stress even though he says he hss no expectations. ..

100% what I feel...
Let that girl breath...

Let her analyze it for herself...

I'm sure she will reach to a correct decision😳

Thanks Shanaia...I seriously feel that Sanskaar is rudhing her when she isnt ready..perhaps he didnt intend to and it slipped out in a drunken haze of baring all his thoughts. .but it has left Swara in panic mode!
She dint want to even look at him..coz everytime she does she remembers his passionate declaration..and she doesnt know - hasnt had time - to think out where she is..

Her anchor in this ocean of accusations, mistrust, allegations and compromises had been Sanskar's unconditional and objective support. And now that anchor is dragging her deeper into the storm tossed waves because this one has deeper ramifications for her..far deeper than all others...because Sanskar matters to her!

Yes she says she wants to focus only on her mission. .because 1) she IS passionate about getting her Ma her due ( though I beg to differ..Sharmishta grow up! ) and 2) its that "safe" thing to say...! Rather than face her emotional devils she would far rather play safe! I cannot blame her ..she has faced enough emotional backlash for her faith and love. Right now she just needs time to recover..

Sanskar should and will Wait. ..he can be fully trusted to do so. Because he does really understand her and love her. He will keep his faith.

But will Sanskaar wait though?
This would imply that he has expectations of Swara in the long run. At the moment he is taking the stance of "My feelings are my problem, not yours" and not necessarily waiting or even considering winning her over. But the heart always craves love and affection, and even though he may not even realize it, he will wait forever. At present he is happy to just bask in this new feeling and enjoying being around her in whatever capacity she will allow him.

I am really curious to see how he handles her and reacts to her stern behavior. There's a part of him that was hurt but another that probably understands why she's reacting this way. Now that he knows what she plans for their future, he will never push her. Of course, circumstances will bring them closer, but I don't see him as being pushy. Where he will be pushy of course, is to get her out of her misery by helping her complete the mission, so that she can smile once again, and of course have her mind freed up to think about other things. šŸ˜‰

Very nice post. I agree with several things you said, and of course, you are perfectly right, she needs time to process the things that have happened, the mass of confusing emotions now raging in her head.

But just one small thing I came away with from the confrontation scene: The "Our friendship is over from today" bit seemed overcooked. Everything else was fine. Sanskaar's reactions: spot on, the way he showed heartbreak and hurt, but at the same time, didn't want to push her. Swara reactions: confusion, frustration, irritation, even anger--all very well done-- UPTO the point where the dialogue veered into "Now only mission, you and I are no longer friends and have nothing to do with each other" teritory.

IMHO, she could very well have achieved the same result (showing her frustration and confusion) by warning that she cannot feel this way about him, she has lost her faith in love, and that he should back off and just see her as a friend. Maybe even warn him, that if he raises this topic again, then she will be forced to avoid him, terminate their friendship.

It seemed surreal to me, to see Swara saying "now we should only look at the mission", in the same sentence where she says he is no longer even her friend. Where is the question of a joint mission when she wants to terminate all ties?

Seemed an overkill to me, because this is not a way a mature person handles a confession of unrequited love from a friend. I get the turmoil, the circumstances, so I was fine with her angst UPTO that dialogue. That one just seemed completely OTT. IMHO, at least.
