I think when he actively breaks out than it might be infectious. Psychosomatic is usually a manifestation of the mind that happens to be physical.

M nt a dermatologist /psychiatrist Bt this s what I know abt psychosomatic disorders.. Psychosomatic disorders may b primarily due to psychophysiological like acne which s triggered N increased by stress or they may be due to psychiatric problem causing skin manifestation like in OCD or it may dermatological problem with psychiatric symptoms due to emotional stress like in eczema, psoriasis.. Generally they are exaggerated by stress.. Stress causes release of some hormones which in turn act on skin receptors and cause release of certain substances which in turn causes the exaggeration of the existing disease.. Skin problems actually take very long to heal and then they tend to increase more and more with stress.. Such patients need behavior therapy along with the treatment of the skin problems and the stress factors must be removed.. And contagious nature is probably due to secondary bacterial infections..
I think in Karan's case he had skin problems and his family isolated him and Sandy scared him N he was kept away from all the things he liked plus he ws nt getting the correct treatment.. Anyone suffering fr so long tend to lose all the confidence in life.. He needs some love, attention and patience along with regular treatment..

And there are some drugs that cause severe photosensitivity so probably Sandy may b giving those to him v cannot say..

Yeah they just left him with that stupid Sandy who made things worse for him 🤬.. Nirmala seems to take care of him but Sandy shows off that she s more educated so may b she cudnt do nytng about it 😕 and probably Sandy s the one who created differences between the brothers.. May b she wud have influenced them when they were kids

I'm going with mental and emotional abuse Mythili. These types of abuse is quite tricky. The victims think that things are being done for their good. That's how Karan is. He is ever grateful for everything Maasi Maa does for him. Of course the poor guy can't see anything wrong with the picture.
I feel so sad for the Karan who must have been a scared little kid.

Yeah.. N probably he wud hav had some kind of allergy/skin sensitivity also... And becoz f no proper treatment N stress it became like this..
poor Karan 😭.. he didn't have nyone to share nytng with.. watever fears he had he wud have shared with Sandy and she wud hv made it nly worse fr him.. N NK s good fr nothing.. He doesn't even consider Karan as a human and always insults him.. And Sandy with her fake concern made sure Karan s greatful to her as he feels she cares fr him d most .. God this Sandy s a witch 🤢
