Thank you! :)

East Asian cultures really have some very heartfelt concepts. This is one of them.

Yes they are married. I am really looking forward to their story!

Interesting comparison. And very apt for NaiRain. One thing i loved was the constant zoom into Naina clutching the ghatbandhan - the condition under which they married, the setting so harsh, both unwilling yet tied in such a sacred beautiful bond. The way Naina defended her husband in front of her sister - the importance of it preceded her blood relation at this moment. This ghatbandhan (Karan) is her MAIN connection to this family and house despite her sister being married here. IT just shows the strength and power of this relation.
And Karan was really feeling suffocated. In the confines of the car it bought home to both of them the status of blurring all barriers and personal walls now. They had rights on one another. They could breach and invade their personal space .He ws petrified! It's going to be a rocky road for NaiRan as we have predicted, gosh I'm soo excited to watch how Naina tackles it - I want the similar Naina to the one at wedding not a meeker version nor an ideal one.

I loved the focus on the gatbandhan as well. It was her link to him and she was clutching it like it would make her understand what was happening. I think she defended Karan out of instinct. I mean she barely understood what Karan was saying, how would she explain to her sister? But yes, her instinct also is to not throw him under the bus but try and understand him. Says a lot about how their relationship is going to be.

Karan was totally out of his depth. The proximity affected him much more than Naina. Hence he just reacted.

I think Naina is going to remain confused and apprehensive for a few days at least. But she will soon find her ground!
