Part 2

We have now reached a time when we ought to relish those old memories of SG Season 1 and at the same time we are to hope for a new and a wonderful start of Season 2. May it be with the rebellious Suvreen Guggal or may it be our very own Yuvreen. May it be Suvreen-RC bonding or rather Alisha-Suvreen rivalry.

Let us start with something that we all love, we all discuss, we all enjoy watching, we all drool on'yes the Yuvreen Chemistry. Please put your hands together for Suvreen Guggal and Yuvraj Singh.

Hahaha' 😆Here it goes. After all Suvreen aur Yuvraj..sorry sorry Yuvreen turned me into a romantic poet. Sorry if the poem was disturbing, was just my first attempt to write a romantic poem. "There's more to this Facebook generation than I-pod and low waist jeans"

This was the phrase that made me watch this show and I am sure many of you out there too would have watched the show for this. Our generation is not just about "How many likes has my picture reached on facebook?" "Which is the latest mobile that I would buy?" "What is your high score in Temple Run?" "Hey..!! Have you heard that guy broke up with this girl?" "Who is the new babe in town?" Our life is much more. Agreed we all are a bit trendy, highly influenced by our western counterparts, we are carefree and sometimes even careless. Agreed that we are more open in talking about issues which our so called previous generation considers to be Taboo. But, however we are, we are equally responsible when it comes to something wrong happening in the society, we are considerate to when it comes to helping someone. We may not agree with our elders on some matters, but that is not because we disrespect, but rather because we believe that each one has their own right to express their opinions. That is what this show from the very start as shown to all of us, may it be through Suvreen, Yuvraj, Annie, Naro, Rathei, Mannu, Zoro, Baby, Tultuli, or even Alisha for that matter. This show has always given us a slice of youth life.
The show has always given its best in portraying the youth life, the rebellious youth power and also has taught many youngsters like me to live a life. Today I can proudly remark that the Journey of SG has not been just a journey of this show, but also has been a journey which has developed me as an individual. The following is a small tribute to the entire cast and crew of Suvreen Guggal. It is a performance by Nia Sharma, Kratika Sengar, and Ada Khan. (Please note that this was performed in Indian Television Academy Awards 2012)

After that wonderful performance, now it's time that we celebrate the friendship that was created in the show. The bonding between Yuvraj-Rathie-Mannu, The bonding between Suvreen-Annie-Naro, The SVG gang, Suvi-Tultutli, RC-Suvi, Suvi-Vivaan, etc etc…Guys this is a small VM that I had very long back made as a tribute to the friends of SG…Please do enjoy

My small poem dedicated to 'Yuvreen'...

Ab kya hoga ise sochkar jee bhaari karne me kya hai,
Jab ve chale gaye hai O man tab aankhe bharne mein kya hai,
Jo hona tha hua anyatha karna sahaj nahi hosakta,
Pehli baatein nahi rahi, tab ro ro kar marne mein kya hai?

Suraj chala gaya yadi baadal lal-lal hotein hai to kya,
Layi raat andhera, kirne taare bote hai to kya.
Vruksh ukhaad chuki hai aandhi, ye ghanshyam jald ab aye,
Maani ne muh fher liya hai, Hum paani khote hai to kya?

Use maan pyara hai, mera sneh mujhe pyara lagta hai,
Maana maine uss bin jag suna saara lagta hai,
Use manau kaise, kyukar, prem manane kyu jayga?
Use manane mein to mera prem, mujhe haara lagta hai... :(
