The synopsis for Supernatural season 9, episode 1 "I Think I'm Gonna Like It Here" has been released.
On the heels of The CW releasing video previews and episode stills, the network has now also released the official description for Supernatural season 9, episode 1:
FALLEN ANGELS " Dean (Jensen Ackles) is frantic after Sam (Jared Padalecki) collapses and the doctor tells Dean his brother won't make it. Desperate, Dean sends out an all points bulletin via prayer to every angel in the area, asking them to help his brother. In exchange, Dean will owe that angel a favor. Numerous angry angels race to find and kill Dean, but one, Ezekiel (guest star Tahmoh Penikett), gets to him first. Meanwhile, Sam fights for his life and must face some familiar demons to do so. Castiel (Misha Collins) struggles to survive without powers. John Showalter directed the episode written by Jeremy Carver (#902).
This synopsis gives more context to the episode stills that were released yesterday. In a couple of those stills, we saw Dean drawing sigils on the walls of Sam's hospital room.
Now we know that those sigils are Dean's SOS as he looks for help for Sam. No doubt that many of the angels who fell, however, will be blaming the Winchesters " as well as Castiel " for being expelled from Heaven by Metatron.
We know from summer casting news that Penikett's Ezekiel was injured in the fall from Heaven, so it will be interesting to see how he interacts with the Winchesters. He is also in several of the promotional stills.
Meanwhile, promos have indicated that Sam will be interacting with at least Bobby and Death in his fight for his life, but what else will he be forced to face to survive?
Supernatural season 9, episode 1 airs on Tuesday, October 8 at 9:00 p.m. on The CW.
i hope the 'favor' is not gonna be the one which will stop gates of heaven being closed..w.r.t to the apparent purpose of angel tablet..😳
And why do i feel this 'favor' is that Big Truth Dean is gonna hide from sam causing another wave of guilt in him??🤔
